Chapter 82

Four years ago, I saw the most beautiful and innocent creature that hid a deep burning fire so well that not even her parents knew it was there. She would make the perfect wife for me, but she was only fourteen. I hated that I had to wait. I spent the evening I met her, watching her, studying every move she made from
the moment she left me on that balcony. I saw the hatred in her eyes when her father and mother spoke to her. The kind of hatred one gets from abuse or lies. I wasn’t going to intervene yet, because I wanted to get to a stage where she begged for help. I had a feeling back then it would be a while before that
happened because she had a fire inside her, a strength.
Since then, I have been monitoring the situation from afar, and learning everything I can about her. Freshly baked croissants are her favorite. She loves red. I watched her shopping with her best friend once, and
saw her paying very close attention to a pretty little red dress. I wanted to see her in that dress, so I brought it. I have it sat in my wardrobe, waiting for its owner to come home. I have heard her beautiful voice singing some incredibly amazing love songs. Ones that I now play on repeat sometimes, because
when they are playing, I can imagine it was her singing the song.
I also know a lot about her intelligence and her school work. I think she would be great in my world. Well,
at least with helping me broker deals and count every single dime that I get paid for the guns that I sell.
The biggest thing is, with her intelligence and beauty, we would make one hell of a power couple, and
make some perfect little children together. I intend on inserting myself into her life from the day she turns
eighteen. I didn’t know how I would do that. That was until a little over a year ago, when I was on the dark web talking with a new buyer. That was when I saw her being sold by that father of hers. There was a group
chat during the bidding process, and so many men were discussing what they planned to do to her. That
unleashed a rage in me like no other, because she was going to be mine one way or the other.
So, I contacted her father and made a deal with him. I offered him one billion dollars for her, but under the
conditions that he kept her at his home until she turned eighteen, then I would come and collect her. I told
him that she had to remain pure. I knew she had to be pure back then, because she never showed any
interest in boys at school.
Then three weeks ago, I found out that her father and mother had been arrested for child abuse and
neglect. I was angry at that. When Harry Jones called me to tell me what had happened, he finally
admitted that he wasn’t her real father, that some biker trash was. That my Olivia, my sweet little olive,
was now with bikers. Harry was on his way to jail, so I warned him that if he so much as breathed my
name, then he would wake up in his cell one morning with his mouth sown shut. I had my ways to get to
him, if I had to. He committed suicide later that night.
I hired a private investigator. I killed one of my guys, when I found out that my Olivia was kissing another man, and a biker at that. Then the private investigator I hired vanished not long after I arrived in the city. I have been wondering if he ran and disappeared, or whether this biker crew made him vanish.

Olivin’s mother has been a wailing banshee in my basement since I arrived in the city. It helped draw Harry’s brother out, considering he knocked up his own brother’s wife. Pete did as he was told, but he got himself captured. Either the people I am sort of on my side are idiots, or this biker crew, the Phoenix Knights, is not like any other biker crew I have faced before. For now, am undecided on what to do with Olivia’s mother. She is the woman who gave life to the love of my life, so she might deserve to live for that
reason. Unless Olivia hates her, then maybe I will kill her, especially if she does not learn to stop screaming like a fucking banshee.
I even had my best hacker try to hack into everything they could to find out all they could on Olivia, but she is being protected by a mysterious hacker called Nova. My hacker thinks that Nova had to be getting paid,
because no hacker would do this much to safeguard information unless they were paid to do so.
Something told me it was more than that though.
Seeing the news channels earlier this week, was a pleasant surprise, but also an infuriating one. My Olivia was on television. Stepping out on to the public stage, as the heiress she is. She is the solo and only child
of William Anderson, the founder and CEO of Anderson Tech. Olivia is William Anderson’s biological
daughter. That was the pleasant surprise bit, because Mr Anderson is a businessman, and if I was able to
get a meeting with him, I could make a deal with him for her hand in marriage. But then this Daniel Phillips,
the youngest multi–billionaire investor, stepped forward and declared his love for my Olivia. Every single
picture this week of her, he has had his arm around her, his lips on hers. It was clear that she was no longer pure, because of him.
When I finally get her, Daniel Phillips will be killed, and I will cut off every single part of him that touched
her in front of her. So she knows that she is mine.
Last night was Olivia’s eighteenth birthday party. I wanted to test their defenses, so I sent in ten of my best
men. I told them to find her and abduct her. But from the moment they went radio silent, I have not heard
anything from them, which could only mean one thing. They failed. They failed their mission, they failed
own result in disappearances. The likelihood being that these people were killed, and their bodies disposed of in such a way that they are never found again. So, my ten men are probably dead by now, no
trace left behind.
୮
Currently, I am waiting for my right–hand man, Antonio, to return. I sent him to scare Olivia, to show I
wasn’t going to give up and that I could get to her at any time. I knew I just had to find the right moment.
Antonio walked into my office, while I sat at my desk smoking a cigar. “Sir, you sure know how to pick your
women.”
“What happened?” I asked, genuinely intrigued.
