Chapter 87

Olivia’s POV-

It took us the rest of the day and all night to get the task I wanted to do completed. CB and Web certainly made the work faster. It would have taken me forty–eight hours to do it on my own. It took us roughly eighteen hours to get it done. Daniel was true to his word, he never left me, well, unless we needed drinks or food. Then he went to get it for us. Dad, Prez and Dragon all popped their heads in to see what we were doing and how far we got.

Surprisingly, for an international gun dealer who has been able to avoid the police and international task forces for a very long time, you think he would be a bit more tech–savvy, especially with a hacker on his side. But he is not. It almost appeared like his technical know–how was left up to subordinates. People who clearly have no idea what they are doing.

“Is that it? Have we done it?” Web finally asked, when CB and I both stopped typing on our keyboards.

CB and I glanced at each other, as I nodded, “I think we have.”

The door opened and in walked Prez, Dragon and my dad. Prez asked, “Have we finished?”

CB chuckled, “We believe we have.”

“How long before we know that your plan has worked?” Dad asked.

I chuckled, “CB, you have an app installed on the home screen on you. It says ‘Nova’s sight.‘ Open

the app.”

Web chuckled, “Naming an app after yourself, ego much?”

“Well, I created it. Love to see you do what I did,” I smirked, raising an eyebrow at him.

He held his hands up and said, “I have not got your mad skills or intellect.”

CB opened the app, as I said, “Pull it up on to the big screen, so everyone can see.”

“Princess, will you please explain what Nova’s sight is?” Dad asked.

“Let’s just say that the CCTV security system I built for the city to protect all the schools, isn’t the only thing I have done,” I replied.

CB pressed a couple of buttons on his computer, and it transferred what was on his computer screen, to the big screen between the desks. Multiple camera views of different locations appeared on the screen, and the bottom corner there was a satellite view of New York. “What is

this?” CB asked.

“It’s still in the early stages. It’s far from finished. But it should work well enough for us to be able to check on the locations that we handed over to both local and federal law enforcement. We should be able to monitor them and hopefully that means catching the police raiding them,” I replied.

“That satellite image, can you move that?” CB asked.

I sighed, “Not quite. That is the bit that I need to work on. Hacking into a satellite, controlling it and leaving no trace of my activities, is damn near impossible. Considering I only started building this app my first week living under my dad’s roof. So far, I have access to every single CCTV camera across the world. That alone is no small feat.”

“A surveillance app, a covert one,” Web gasped.

I nodded, “Back to what we need to do. CB, click the input button top right corner. Then input/every

single location we need to monitor, and check for cameras all within a five–mile radius. Pick the

best one, and pull them up on to the main screen.”

CB got to work. Everyone remained silent as they watched and waited to see if this program would

work well enough for us to do it. We had already moved all the money from his bank accounts to a

bank account we created. We were going to put it to vote in church on what we should do with the

money and how we should distribute the money. Web was still on my laptop, I presume, searching

the dark web. I watched his brow furrow and then his eyes widen, as he said, “Oh my god, look

what I found!”

“Better not be some kind of porno, because I will stab you in the eyes for finding something like

that on my computer,” I responded.

“I wouldn’t dream of searching for something like that on your computer. I found out where Vargas will be. Apparently, there is a deal going down, and Vargas is going to be there himself,” Web replies, looking at more of whatever he had found.

Prez moved to his side, and asked, “What did you find exactly?”

“It’s a string of messages, between Vargas and a buyer. Your search algorithms found, Queenie. It has the date, time and location,” Web explained.

Now, as good as my algorithms are, Vargas has been in the city for well over a week. He never waited this long for deals to make deals. His pattern was always making the deal, arriving in the city, meeting the buyer, getting the money, and then leaving the city. That was his pattern. He never made a deal in the city he was staying in. Unless he came to the city because of the deal he made with Harry, and now he is here, he figured he might as well to a deal while he is here. Men like him never pass up the opportunity to get paid.

“It sounds like a trap,” I said.

“Anything like this could be a trap. We will have no way of knowing, unless we spring the trap,” Frez- said.

“The trap will be to separate you all from me, or for me to go with you and get separated from you while there,” I sighed.

“Most likely, but we may not get another chance to get our hands on him without suffering heavy losses. That place he is hiding out at is a damn fortress,” Prez responded, rubbing his brow.

Daniel growled, “I am not risking my queen’s safety over something that could be a trap.”

“Sadly, it’s either risk my safety now, or later on, when we are not on high alert, when we don’t have all the other MCs here. Hell, even when I am pregnant. Not that I am, dad. I am pointing out that if we don’t take the risk now, this could go on and on. We just need to be prepared for all possible

outcomes,” I said.

“Well, we will not go on this deal Vargas is going to be at, unless we have a guaranteed way to

track you. Just in case he manages to get his hands on you and take you away,” Dad said.

Prez and Dragon both agreed with that. Daniel was less agreeable. But then, he was more worried

about my safety than anything else. I knew what Dad meant by the guaranteed way to track me.

He meant that a tracking device could be jammed, and that is what he is worried about. I have

never needed to build a tracking device. Given this deal is going down at 9pm in four days, I do not
