Chapter 90
Daniel’s POV-
“What if they get you into a vehicle and drive you away?” Gold asked, his eyes narrowing on Olivia.
Admittedly, I was wondering that too. The brace she made only works if she is on foot, nut in a vehicle. Olivia smirked, “How do you feel about nanites and beta particles?”
“Beta particles? Aren’t they radioactive?” Mike said.
Olivia nodded, as Turtle asked, “What are nanites?”
“Nano-size robots that can be programmed for a very specific task. The medical field is already using them as a means to target cancerous tumors with ionized radiatio Doc answered Turtle’s question.
“But how could they help us?” I asked.
“You know how I still haven’t given you a full list of all the companies I did cyber work for under a fake
identity,” Olivia directed the question at Gold.
He nodded, rubbing his brow, “Who else have you helped?”
“Ever heard of Titan Private Security Firm? The owner, Mr George Robinson, owes me a very big favor,” she
replied.
Everyone’s eyes went wide, because we had all heard of that company. It didn’t just specialize in private security, that was what they were on the surface. They were experts in extraction and covert military strikes. They were a very powerful company. “How did you help them?” Gold asked.
Olivia’s expression remained neutral as she spoke, “It is not public knowledge, but Mr Robinson’s 14-year-old daughter was kidnapped last year by terrorists. Before his team could get to her, she was r***d and filmed. I found the videos isolated them from the web, but before removing them, I was able to trace the IP address and get it to Mr Robinson. He saved his daughter and I destroyed the videos. He wanted to know who the outlaw was that saved his daughter better than his men could, so I met with him. I never told him I was Nova. Just that I had enough computer know-how to do what I did. He offered me a job, money, and I told him one day I might come to him for a job, as I wanted to go to college first. He said he would owe me one until I came to collect it. Whatever I needed, he would get it for me. He gave me a burner phone with his number already programmed into it. All I needed to do was call it.”
“Do you still have that phone?” Gold asked, which Olivia nodded in response to.
“How can they help us?” Prez asked.
“When I met him, he was reading an article about Beta Particles, and their practical uses. He was hoping to create a new tracking method using such particles. Last I heard, he had people on it, and they were well on their way to having a prototype,” Olivia explained.
“Make the call, arrange a meeting,” Prez told Olivia.

Olivia nudded and boxed her arm brace up with the invisible ink. She looked at me, “Come on, I need to get this to our room, and then I need to head to my bedroom at my house.”
“We need to have a serious talk about everything you have done,” Gold said to Olivia.
She nodded, “When this is over, yes, we will. First though, let’s take Vargas down.”
Olivia went to pick up the box, but I reached over and picked it up. “Nope, I will carry it for you.”
Olivia giggled, but didn’t argue. We walked side by side back to our room, so we could lock the arm brace away. Olivia has her own safe in our walk-in wardrobe now. We made sure to lock the brace away in there. We didn’t need anyone to tamper with it. I highly doubt anyone would, but you never know.
When she locked it away in her safe, I pulled Olivia into my arms, before pinning her to the door frame. A surprised gasp slipped from her lips, as I chuckled, “Tonight is going to be a very long night, so don’t over exert yourself. As soon as we have had dinner, we come straight to our room, okay?”
“Sounds perfect. I better grab a bottle of water, so I can stay hydrated,” she winked at me.
I chuckled, letting her go so she could go to the mini fridge we had in our room. As she moved past me, I
couldn’t resist smacking her ass. “We need to get this burner phone of yours,” I sighed.
Olivia nodded, grabbing a bottle of water, before we left our room together, to head back to the house she shares with Gold. I wrapped my arm around her, as Mike and Devil followed us. I am guessing that Prez arranged for Mike and Devil to walk with us back to Gold’s house. We made it there pretty quickly.
I followed Olivia up to her bedroom, while Mike and Devil waited downstairs. She unlocked the door and pushed the door open. I followed her in quietly. She moved to her bed, and lifted a floor board up. She pulled a black backpack from under her bed. “What is that?” I asked.
“Well, it now holds all the things that I was going to use to run away with when I thought I had no other option,” she replied.
“Let me guess, burner phones, fake IDs, cash, and whatever else you thought might be helpful,” I said. She nodded, “Yes, I put the burner phone in here.”
She had about four phones, but only one was labeled. The labeled one was the one she kept in her hand, putting the rest back in her backpack. She put the backpack back where she got it from. She switched the burner phone on. The moment it was on, she typed a text message, one that read: “Savior requesting meeting with Robin at 1600 hours at the same coffee shop tomorrow. Meeting category critical.”
I chuckled, “In all the times we have texted, you have never spoken like that.”
“It is how he told me to message him. But to also add the category of the meeting, so he knows how serious I am about meeting as soon as possible,” she replied.
Before I could say anything further, the phone in her hand began to ring. Olivia answered it, putting it on speaker. I knew she had done that, so I could listen in on what was being said.
