The Platonic Trap novel Chapter 110

Even though Evelyn's reputation on campus had crashed and burned after the scandal, she was still an honors student and received plenty of congratulatory comments.

[Congrats! Omg, are you dating someone?!]

Evelyn replied: [No, just a regular friend~]

[Evelyn, you're amazing! I heard you passed your internship evaluation at the Forrester Group. Winning in both love and your career!]

Evelyn replied: [Hehe, just lucky! Keep pushing, you can do it too!]

Reading Evelyn's comments, Celia raised an eyebrow, suddenly remembering a crucial detail.

—She hadn't lined up an internship yet.

Normally, with the Stafford Group at her disposal, she wouldn't need to hunt for one. But things were different now. She needed a real internship.

Smirking, Celia opened her chat with Alistair.

Celia: [Uncle Alistair, could I come intern at your company?]

The person on the other end clearly wasn't looking at their phone, as the reply didn't come immediately.

About ten minutes later.

Alistair: [Stafford Group would be more convenient for you.]

Celia: [But my uncles are running everything there right now. I won't learn anything if I go.]

Celia: [Sad_Cat.jpg]

Alistair: [Zucker Corp's operational model isn't suitable for you.]

Celia possessed a lethal intuition: Alistair was currently in a bad mood.

Arching her brow, she typed back.

Celia: [Okay, sorry for bothering you!]

Alistair: [Hmm.]

Her fingers paused slightly before she continued typing.

Celia: [Oh, right, can I post the picture we took today?]

The chat screen showed "Typing..."

A long pause.

Alistair: [You can.]

Celia: [Surprised.jpg]

Celia: [Thank you! I really wanted to post it, but Ken mentioned before that your photos aren't supposed to be posted online.]

Celia: [When is my interview, boss?!]

Alistair: [Tomorrow.]

Celia: [Yes, boss!]

Alistair: [Get some rest.]

Celia: [Will do! You get some rest too. Good night!]

Alistair: [Hmm.]

Playing with her phone, Celia smiled, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Just then, a notification popped up on her screen.

[Alistair liked your post 'Happy Graduation!']

The next morning, Celia changed into a sleek, professional skirt suit and drove straight to Zucker Corporation.

Walking into the lobby, the receptionist immediately recognized her and hurried over. "Good morning, Ms. Stafford. Are you here to see Mr. Zucker? I'll call the elevator for you."

Celia smiled and waved her off. "No, no. I'm here for an interview."
