Eos saw Circe coming for him, and with his mastery over the dimension of Time and Memory, he knew that what she was going to be telling him was extremely important, and he was surprised... There were a few things that he regarded as extremely important at his present level. Not the end of Realities or the deaths of Primordials... what would Circe know of that would trigger this response in his heart?
The Primordial of Endless Kindling descended, and he could see that she was a little bit confused by his multiple Incarnations. They were born from the purest essence of creation that he controlled; they had a simplicity and radiance that could enthrall the mind, despite the fact that at this point in time, they were all mortal.
Eos always began any important creation with this step, because he understood the significance of a proper mortal foundation, and if his enemies had known his plans, then they would have known he was at his most vulnerable at the moment.
He could have hidden his work due to its importance, but Fate was a fickle mistress, and hiding his activities might end up drawing the attention that he wished to ignore. Eos might have caught Noctis, one of the Architects of End, but he knew that this might not be the only hidden agent in his camp.
Inside the Temple of End, Rowan had seen other robed figures whose faces and shapes were obscured, and there was a possibility that Noctisβs face was placed out there so he could easily take the fall, and for Eosβs caution to lighten up.
Nothing was off the table, and when you tango with devils, you had to be ready to be gored by their horns. Eosβs only consolation was that no matter how long it took, with the present trend in Existence, every secret would be coming to light.
His main body was sitting on his rock, but Circe could not see him, apart from Eva, who was the only one allowed to see his main body; no one else could see him. It was not as if he trusted Eva more than Circe, but it was simply a matter of security.
If there was ever going to be any flaw in his security, then he wanted the investigation to be easy, and one of the best methods to do this was to reduce the trail of bodies to be as small as possible.
As Circe descended, Eos created an avatar of air and earth to appear behind her, and to challenge himself, he used only the elements in this creation to see if she would be able to detect it, but from her surprise jump when he startled her, he knew she had not found out the trail of his energy moving, not that this was fair, since he left to tracks for anyone to trace.
Even though he was not a Primordial and could not pull out the true power of Origin Essence, Eos had already mastered hundreds of Origin Forces up to their fourth layer, and that gave him an advantage that could not even be properly explained.
Eos understood that End was not his greatest enemy; there was also Time. If he was given enough of it, then it was inevitable that in the future he was winning this fight.
He chuckled as Circe tried to brush away her embarrassment with an annoyed frown. Her blue hair and bright eyes brought a radiance to this place that was unmatched.
