Chapter 2071: Destiny’s Anchor Formation

This fear was not of him, but for him.

Few may not understand what it means to constantly be changing and evolving who you are from the root, while still keeping a measure of your true self alive.

Her father had lived a turbulent life, and he had transformed from a mortal to a being whose true self was beyond comprehension, even to her, and she did not know how much more he could bear before it all became too much.

Yet, she knew that the best she could do to help him was to reduce the burden on his shoulder as much as possible, and for this reason, she created the Field of Elysium.

Only someone like her who could see Existence in a way that stripped away all the fluff would be able to create a place like this, and after Elysium was created, Serathis began her next project, and it was about to be completed.

"Oh, that reminds me, Father, you have not seen what I have been working on, let me show you," she said with excitement in her eyes.

Eos smiled, "Let me guess, it is related to trees." 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Serathis paused, her eyes squinting in suspicion, and then she blushed, "Am I that obvious?"

Eos looked around the expansive garden of Elysium, filled with flowers, trees, and lazy streams, and he shrugged, "You were made from the essence of life and beauty itself... it was not such a hard guess, but Serathis, you are still a child, and with time, you shall discover more of yourself than what I placed in you."

She rolled her eyes, "You still call me a child when I am hundreds of millions of years old."

Eos flicked her forehead, "Even at a trillion, you will remain a child in my eyes," then he smiled, "At least, not until the day you get married."

Serathis’ eyes widened, and then she gagged, before she frowned, her mouth opened to dispute his statement, then a naughty look entered her eyes, "Ok, I will get married, Father, but I will only do that if you do."

Coughing, Eos looked at the book in her hands, "So, show me what you have been working on. You made Elysium nearly twenty million years ago, and since that time, you have hardly moved from this place. Whatever you are working on must be truly special."

Serathis beamed, and her eyes glowed like stars, the teasing of her father forgotten as she got excited to show him what she had been working on. She knew that Chronomanver Prime constantly went to their father for advice, and many times, as she worked, she wanted to do the same, but what held her back was the look of surprise and happiness she knew she would see in his eyes when she finished her project, and this made her push ahead.

Without the aid of her father, Serathis went for the next best thing, his Archai and that annoying Primordial Serene Ascension.

When Eos had mentioned marriage, Serathis could not help but think about this Primordial who always seemed to forget himself when he was in her presence. To Serathis, it was not flattering, just annoying, and although she did not dislike the Primordial, especially when he was a great help to her, the idea of being with someone except to stay by the side of her father repulsed her.
