Chapter 12 The First Blow
What a miserable way to live.

Larissa unlocked her phone and opened the school forum, scrolling through the comments flooding the
screen.
Julia, everything you want and everything you have right now, enjoy it while you can. Because I will destroy it all.
She casually tapped a few times on the screen, and the post vanished without a trace.
It was as if it had never existed.
“W–what just happened? Larissa, the post from earlier is gone. Did the forum admins delete it?” Nancy exclaimed.
She had been looking at the post just seconds ago.
It had disappeared far too quickly.
Larissa kept looking at her phone, her expression calm, as if nothing unusual had happened.
At the same time, in Class A, Julia saw Larissa’s photo almost immediately.
That bitch Larissa. After being kicked out of the Turners, she still managed to get into Marcrest High.
Julia had thought that once Larissa was driven out of the Turners, she would disappear completely from Marcrest.
Or disappear from her world altogether.
She would never forget the day she returned to the Turner Estate and saw what Larissa had. A huge bedroom. Beautiful princess dresses. Cute dolls. Outstanding grades. Brothers who doted on her. The jealousy had driven her insane.
Those things should have been hers. She was the real daughter of the Turners.
It had only taken her two years to send Larissa off to that Ravenmind Island. She had successfully taken everything Larissa once had.
What she had never expected was that Larissa would survive and come back.
This time, she had finally driven Larissa out of the Turners.
She had truly believed Larissa would vanish from her life for good.
And yet, here she was, attending Marcrest High.
It seemed she had been too merciful.
She should have had someone take care of her permanently.

Chapter 12 The First Blow
As long as Larissa existed, she was a constant reminder of Julia’s shameful past.

After a moment of thought, Julia uploaded a video to the school forum. It was the clip falsely accusing Larissa of pushing her into the water.
The title read: The Turners‘ Adopted Daughter Larissa Returns From Ravenmind Island and Cold- Bloodedly Attempts to Murder the Turners‘ Real Daughter.
Larissa, you brought this on yourself. You just had to show up in front of me again and disgust me.
Now I am the Turners‘ daughter, and you are nothing. If I want to crush you, it would be as easy as crushing an ant.
She then contacted the paid trolls she regularly hired and had them flood the post with vicious comments.
[I can’t believe the Turners‘ adopted daughter is this evil. Julia is way too kind. After all that, she still didn’t send her to the police.]
[As an adopted daughter of the Turners, not only was Larissa ungrateful, she even did something this insane. Get out of Marcrest High.]
[How does someone this malicious deserve to study at Marcrest High?]
[The Turners are unbelievable. Their adopted daughter tried to hurt their own child, and they still used connections to get her into Marcrest High.]
[Wow, who would’ve thought someone with such an innocent, pretty face could do something so disgusting. A student like this should be expelled.]
[She only finished elementary school. What right does Larissa have to attend Marcrest High? Trash like this should get out.]
[Yeah, get out of school. Anyone who escaped from Ravenmind Island is probably mentally unstable. If she kills someone, she might not even be held responsible. Someone this dangerous needs to leave now.]
In less than half an hour, the forum was flooded with hateful comments.
Those who had initially liked Larissa because of her looks began to turn on her after watching the video and learning that she had only completed elementary school, never attended middle school, and had spent five years in Ravenmind Island. In their eyes, she became nothing more than a vicious monster hiding behind a beautiful face.
