“We booked these rooms a month ago. Please check again. There has to be a record. I even have a screenshot of the reservation on my phone. Look.”

He held up his phone with shaking hands.

“We just want this handled properly. We’re not trying to cause trouble. We only want an explanation from the hotel.”

“An explanation?” one of the staff sneered. “From people like you?”

He looked them up and down with open disgust.

“You country folks think you can make demands here? Take your stuff and leave. Don’t bring your germs into our hotel. It’s filthy.”

Another employee waved them off as if they were stray animals.

Herbert’s face turned red with anger. He was shaking. He wasn’t good at arguing, and he didn’t know how to throw insults back. He could only repeat that they had booked the rooms.

Larissa’s brows slowly pulled together. Her eyes turned cold.

She stepped forward and spoke in smooth, fluent Moblos language.

“You are refusing rooms that were already paid for. That is a serious breach of contract. And insulting hotel guests is unprofessional and unethical.”

The staff member gave her a cold laugh.

“And who do you think you are, telling us what to do?”

Larissa’s lips curved slightly, but there was no warmth in her smile.

“Who I am doesn’t matter. What matters is that you will pay for what you did today. Get your manager here immediately. If you don’t, you won’t like what happens next.”

The staff hesitated, clearly unsettled by her presence. After a short pause, one of them finally went to get the person in charge.

A few minutes later, a heavyset middle–aged man hurried over. He gave them a quick, annoyed look. When he realized they were from Smcana, his tone grew even colder.

“What’s the problem?” he snapped. “If you know what’s good for you, leave now. Stop making a scene. Otherwise, we’ll call the police.”

The manager’s expression shifted. His eyes flickered for a second, but he quickly forced a stubborn look.

“There must be some misunderstanding,” he said stiffly. “But the truth is, we don’t have any rooms left. You’ll have to find another hotel. We can refund your deposit, but there are no rooms. That’s final.”

Larissa crossed her arms.

“I don’t care if it’s a misunderstanding. You will arrange rooms for these students. If you don’t, I will make sure your hotel’s reputation in Moblos crashes overnight.”

The manager let out a scornful laugh.

‘You? Ruin our reputation? I’d like to see you try. Let’s see what you’re capable of.”

Larissa’s eyes turned icy.

Without another word, she pulled a laptop out of her bag. Her fingers began moving quickly across the keyboard. Lines of code flashed across the screen.

‘Stop trying to scare us,” the man scoffed loudly. “You think I believe a little girl like you can do anything? I’ve been a hotel general manager for years. I’ve seen it all. You think I’m afraid of you?”

He pointed toward the door.

If you know what’s good for you, leave now. Or you’ll regret it.”

Herbert glanced at Larissa. He didn’t even know her. Why was she standing up for him?

Is she bluffing? Is she serious?

But watching her fingers move with such confidence and skill, he couldn’t help thinking–she doesn’t look like she’s bluffing. This girl looked like a hacker.
