‘Hey, loser, you actually think you can race Johnny?” one of his lackeys sneered.

‘Where do you get your confidence? You should know your place. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Did you hit your head or something?”

One of Johnny’s lackeys stood behind him and sneered when he saw Carter.

‘Seriously? You actually dare to race our Johnny? You don’t even have the nerve to drive, and now you want to compete? Where do you get that kind of courage?”

Another one jumped in right away.

‘Some people just won’t give up. Still dreaming in broad daylight. Johnny is the ace of our club. And you? You hide behind women. Where does your confidence come from? From them?”

Carter looked at them coldly. His eyes were sharp and steady.

Larissa’s gaze turned icy.

“Watch your mouth. Who do you think you are? All you do is bark. If your life feels too easy, I can make it more interesting. My brother is not a loser. Today, he’ll prove how good he really is.”

The Duchess put her hands on her hips and spoke boldly.

The race began. Johnny’s car shot forward like a rocket. Carter didn’t fall behind. He handled the wheel smoothly, drifting perfectly through the curves and quickly catching up.

On the track, the two cars chased each other closely. The other drivers tried to block Carter whenever they could.
