Chapter 4 First Encounter
The man didn’t expect Larissa to completely ignore his pleas for help.
“I’ll give you 100 million dollars if you save me,” he said, holding his chest.
Larissa finally turned around and looked at him. She asked flatly, “You really have 100 million:”
The man nodded and pushed the watch on his wrist into her hand.
“This watch is worth 500 million dollars. Take it as a promise. I won’t go back on my word.”

Larissa glanced at the watch in her hand. She recognized it as the newest custom Rolex, worth a huge amount of money.
This man was clearly not an ordinary person.
She slipped the watch into her pocket and stepped in front of him.
“I’ve got him. Leave while you still can.”
The man leaned against the wall, exhausted, trying to catch his breath.
He didn’t expect this young girl to be so fearless.
She looked only 17 or 18 years old. How could she beat all these men?
If he hadn’t been poisoned and left without strength, he wouldn’t be in such a miserable state.
The men in black didn’t expect a girl like her to talk so boldly.
They burst into loud laughter, not taking Larissa seriously at all.
One of the leaders sneered and said, “Hey, I suggest you stay out of this.
“I have important business today, so I’ll let you go. Leave right now, and I won’t hold it against you.
“Otherwise, you’ll stay here with him.”
Larissa said coldly, “Enough talk. If you’re looking to die, I’ll help you.”
Larissa stopped wasting words. The needles in her hand shot forward, and all six men collapsed at the same time.
They didn’t even have time to react. Their eyes were wide open, shocked that a young girl had taken them down in a single move.
The man also stared in disbelief.
He had been worried that he would drag the girl into trouble. He never expected her to be this skilled. taking down the whole group in one move.

After dealing with them, Larissa turned back and walked up to him. She held out her hand. “Give me the money now.”
Now that the danger was gone, the man had no strength left at all. His voice was weak and thin.
“I don’t have any strength right now, and I’ve got wounds all over. I’m still not out of danger.
“Please take me somewhere safe. Once I’m safe, I’ll transfer 200 million dollars to you.”
There was more money to earn, and of course, Larissa was willing.
She checked his pulse. He had been drugged with a muscleweakening poison, and he also had several knife wounds.
None of them was fatal, but losing too much blood could still kill him.
Larissa took out her needles and placed a few into his arm and chest.
The man was badly hurt, and since he wasn’t fully safe yet, he didn’t dare to fall asleep.
What he didn’t expect was that after the girl casually jabbed a few needles, he regained his strength. The wounds stopped bleeding, and the pain faded away.
Even going to a hospital wouldn’t work this fast.
He stared at her in shock.
“Pay me now,” she said.
Larissa didn’t care about his surprise and didn’t want to talk to him at all. She only said the words calmly.
For the first time, the man wondered if he had lost his charm.
Why did this girl only care about money?
Am I not handsome enough?
Had my charm faded?
But the awkward truth was, he had searched himself and didn’t have a single penny. No phone, no ID. Nothing at all.
Seeing that the girl in front of him was about to get angry, he quickly explained, “I’m sorry, I don’t even have a phone on me right now.
“This watch is the most valuable thing I have.
“If you can take me home, I can give you the money right away.”
Larissa was very impatient.
If she had known he would be this troublesome and broke, she wouldn’t have saved him at all.

“Troublesome,” she muttered.
Even so, she hailed a taxi and followed the address he gave.
The two rode in silence.
Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of Windermere Hills.
Larissa didn’t expect the person she saved to be this rich.
“Don’t worry. Once we’re inside, I promise I’ll give you the money,” he said.
Larissa paid for the ride and followed him inside.
“Mr. Robinett, you’re back!”
Someone rushed over to greet him.

“Good thing you’re safe. The moment I turned around, you disappeared, and nobody knew where you
went.
“The bodyguards we sent to find you still haven’t returned.
“Thank God you’re back…”
The assistant followed, talking nonstop all the way.
“She saved me. Write her a check for 500 million,” he instructed.
Only then did the assistant notice that a young girl was following his boss.
He had been worried only about his boss’s safety, and his boss, who never showed interest in girls, had a young girl by his side.
This… this was shocking.
The girl looked no older than 17 or 18. With her small arms and legs, how could she possibly have the strength to save Mr. Robinett?
Could she be some hidden martial arts expert?
But since Mr. Robinett had ordered it, I had to follow through.
The assistant took out a check and quickly wrote out 500 million dollars, handing it to Larissa.
Larissa didn’t take the check. Her voice was still cold, “I only take the 200 million I’m owed. I don’t want. more.”
The assistant looked at her seriously. In this day and age, someone actually turning down extra money?
At his boss’s signal, he wrote a new check for 200 million dollars and handed it to her.
If she really saved Mr. Robinett’s life, she must have known who he was when she came here.

Mr. Robinett’s life was worth far more than 200 million.
The man hadn’t expected this, either. He thought the girl had saved him just for money.
But even when given the chance for more, she only took what she was owed.
And when she checked his pulse, he didn’t even mind her touch.
Maybe he could try a little more.
“If you don’t mind, you can stay here tonight. There are plenty of guest rooms,” he said.
Larissa glanced at the time. It was already past midnight.
She nodded.
Following the servants, she went into the guest room.
The man and his assistant went into the study.
“Check if the person who drugged me tonight is working with those black–clad men. Find out who sent them,” he ordered.
The assistant’s face grew serious. “Yes, Mr. Robinett. I’ll send people to investigate immediately. You have so many wounds and lost so much blood. I’ll have Dr. Sowle come right away to dress your wounds.”
The assistant thought to himself. Mr. Robinett was incredible. Even with all these injuries and so much blood loss, he looked like nothing had happened.
The man nodded. “Also, find out who that girl is. Why was she there tonight?”
“Mr. Robinett, do you suspect her?” the assistant asked, confused.
The man thought about the girl’s cold, calm attitude. Her skill, her composure in danger, and, most importantly, her incredible medical skills–none of these should belong to a girl her age.
She had a lot of secrets.
He didn’t know if she was deliberately getting close to him.
As the head of the Robinetts, he held a high position and had to be careful about everything.
Any unexpected incident had to be investigated thoroughly.
Only after his assistant left did he go to the bathroom to take a shower.
Seeing the blood on his face, he was startled.
So he’d shown up in front of her looking like that?
It was already lucky she hadn’t treated him like a beggar–no wonder she hadn’t stared at his face as other
women would.
