Chapter 73 The Video That Vanished
From the moment the video started, Jack’s eyes stayed locked on the young girl.
“Boss, what’s so special about her?” Terry asked, confused.
“Her shooting is good, sure. But it’s not good enough to deserve this much attention, right?”
Terry really did not understand what was going on today.

Ten full minutes had passed since they sat down. Jack had not looked away from the screen even once.
If Terry had not been following him for years, he would actually have thought Jack knew the girl.
She looked only 17 or 18.
Jack is 27. Is he interested in her?
That age gap felt wrong.
Jack shot him a cold look, full of warning.
He was about to keep watching; the video on his phone suddenly vanished.
Terry was wordless.
“It wasn’t me. I don’t have that kind of skill,” Terry said quickly.
He opened his phone. The video was gone too.
“This is bad,” Terry muttered. “Who could break into the Bennett Group’s security network in such a short time? A normal person couldn’t do this.”
Jack’s eyes darkened. A faint smile curved his lips. Strong curiosity rose in his chest.
“Interesting,” he said calmly. “Find out who it is. I want to know who dares to mess around on my territory.”
Anyone who could break through the Bennett Group’s system that fast was no ordinary person.
And that mysterious hacker clearly did not want him to see anything about that girl.
At the same time, Larissa got back into her car and smiled with quiet pride.
She just hacked into the Bennett Group’s system and deleted the video.
Larissa did not want Jack to notice her. In this life, she wanted nothing to do with him.
Terry quickly ordered his team to strengthen security and track the hacker.
But no matter how hard they tried, they found nothing.
“Boss,” Terry reported helplessly, “the other side is too skilled. This looks like a top–level hacker. We can’t trace them, and the video can’t be restored.”
Jack rubbed his temples. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that young girl was not simple at
all.

Chapter 73 The Video That Vanished
“Forget it,” he said. “We’ll stop here. If she’s around, we’ll meet again someday.”
The next morning, Larissa was woken up by her phone ringing.
“Hello?”
“Larissa, are you still sleeping?” Leonard asked.

He had just gotten off the plane and called right away. He could not relax, knowing his daughter had come so far on her own.
After finishing his work yesterday, he rushed to Eldercrown right away.
“Dad? Do you need something?” Larissa asked, now fully awake.
“Where are you? I’ll come get you,” Leonard said.
“Gavin is unreliable. Where did he arrange for you to stay?”
This trip was not just about checking on her. Leonard wanted to officially add Larissa to the family record.
It was a serious matter. He wanted her to stand openly by his side so everyone would know Larissa was his long–lost daughter.
That way, anyone who wanted to hurt her would think twice.
Larissa sat up. “Dad, I’m staying at a hotel. Give me a few minutes. I’ll come to you.”
“Alright, I’ll wait for you at the hotel restaurant,” Leonard said.
He knew it. Gavin really was unreliable. Larissa was back in Eldercrown, but he let Larissa stay at the hotel.
The thought that she had not even visited the family estate yet made his heart ache.
Half an hour later, Larissa walked into the restaurant. Leonard had already ordered breakfast.
“Sweetie, are you hungry?” he asked.
The moment he saw her, the seriousness on his face disappeared. A warm, gentle smile took its place.
