Faced with Nina’s calm advance, Audrey unconsciously stepped back, a flicker of fear crossing her face.

Nina caught that trace of fright clearly. She curved her lips into a faint smile. “There’s no need to be scared. I just want to warn you to stay cautious over these coming months. I happen to be pretty good at predicting what lies ahead, and I can tell you for certain that the Beaumont family is bound to hit huge troubles within these three months.”

“You’ve lost your mind!” Audrey scoffed dismissively. “My brother dotes on me more than anything. Know your place and stay away from Jensen. If you keep clinging to him, I will never let you off easy!”

“That’s enough,” Jensen cut in coldly. “Kent, escort all outsiders out of the company. From now on, no one from the Beaumont family is permitted to set foot here without my personal approval.”

His words stabbed straight into Audrey’s heart.

Kent walked over to her gently. “Ms. Beaumont, please don’t make this difficult for me. It’s best you leave now.”
