My heart was pounding so hard I was sure he could feel it. I held my breath and stayed perfectly still on Átila’s lap, fighting the tremor in my body like it was a betrayal.
Then a sound sliced through the air.
A crow.
The old man glanced toward the trees and muttered, “Weird place…”
And just like that, he looked forward again and kept guiding the cart as if nothing had happened.
Relief hit me so fast I almost collapsed.
The wagon creaked on, rocking over the dirt road, and I stayed tucked back there, fitted against Átila, my back to him, every muscle in my body wired and listening.
Atila’s mouth brushed my ear as he spoke in a low murmur.
“Relax. Looks like he can’t see what we’re doing back here.”
I swallowed hard.
I didn’t even want to answer, because I knew my voice would come out thin. Breathless.
And I hated that.
Hated how my body was reacting.
Hated how much I was enjoying it-and how filthy it made me feel for enjoying it.
I stared straight ahead, forcing myself to look normal. Like I was just sitting here. Like he wasn’t holding me in place so tightly I could barely breathe.
The cart jolted.
My body shifted without meaning to.
And I felt Átila move too.
Slow.
Too slow.
Like he was doing it on purpose.

I bit my lip hard, trapping every sound behind my teeth.
His voice came again, warm and wicked against my skin.
“Let’s take it slow. Safer…” A pause. A smile I could hear. “And it feels better.”

I turned my face slightly, glancing back over my shoulder, and whispered, “You’re such an asshole.”
He made a low sound-dark, pleased-like he loved hearing it.
His hand tightened around my waist and pulled me closer until there was no space left between us. My body sealed to his like I belonged there.
The wagon kept rolling.
And every dip in the road made me move.
I tried to stay quiet.
It was impossible.
Átila started matching the rhythm of the cart-slow, controlled, sliding in and out with deliberate patience, like he was holding himself back just to torture me.
I closed my eyes for a second.
My chest rose and fell too fast.
Heat flooded my skin.
I could feel him tense behind me-hard, pulsing, impossibly thick, like he’d doubled in size inside my body,
A small sound slipped out of me before I could stop it,
Instant regret.
Átila’s lips found my neck, and his voice dropped into a hush.
“Shh.”
Then he kissed my neck slowly.
Once.
Twice.
Right on the spot that made my knees go weak.

I gripped the wooden bench with one hand, holding on like it could keep me from moving too
much.
But he didn’t stop.
He kept kissing, his breath hot against my skin, and then his voice slid into my ear-dirty and calm, like he had all the time in the world.
“You’re still so tight, princess.”
My eyes flew open.
I bit my lip again so hard it stung.
My face burned.
My body answered instantly, like he’d flipped a switch.
The cart rocked harder and I almost lost it.
I grabbed the hem of my dress like it could save me from myself.
Átila picked up the pace just a little.
Still slow-but deeper. Rougher.
My body shook.
My legs went weak.
And I hated how badly I wanted more.
His hand slid up over my torso and closed over my breast through the fabric, squeezing firmly.
I sucked in a sharp breath.
He murmured, right into my ear, “They’re so hard.”
I choked on my own air.
He squeezed again, like he wanted to make me even more sensitive, even more helpless.
Heat rushed through me so fast my head spun.
I shifted, trying to find a better angle,
And it only made everything worse.
Because he took advantage of it.

His grip on my waist tightened, dragging me back until I felt every inch of him-deeper, fuller- like he wanted to ruin me quietly.
I closed my eyes and spread my legs a little more, fighting to stay silent.
Fighting to remember there was a man driving this cart right in front of us.
But Atila didn’t let me forget anything.
He thrust harder.
The wagon’s rocking helped.
I was sweating.
My whole body was burning.
My breathing turned shallow and broken.
I felt my limit closing in, fast, and I knew I wasn’t going to last much longer.
I leaned my forehead against the stack of sacks in front of me, pretending I was just tired.
But I wasn’t tired.
I was being wrecked in silence.
I whispered, barely audible, “Átila… I’m close…”
He let out a low curse, his voice strained like he was barely holding on.
And then he really moved.
Faster.
Firmer.
Like he’d stopped trying to control himself.
Like he’d decided to finish this before I completely lost my mind.
I bit my lip so hard I tasted blood.
My whole body trembled.
And then everything inside me snapped-sharp and fast, stealing my breath.
I held it in so I wouldn’t moan out loud.
My eyes squeezed shut.
