Liora’s POV
Callum and I fell back against the pillows, both breathless and smiling. I tugged the neckline of my dress back up around my shoulders and pushed the skirt back down. My panties were somewhere under the bed, and would probably remain there until check-out time tomorrow.
“It’s weird,” I said, still breathing hard, “getting fucked in your mom’s dress.”
Callum choked on the water he was drinking. “Can you never say that again, please?”
I smirked. “Sorry. Not sorry.”
He rolled his eyes and leaned back against the pillows, holding his arm wide to make room for me. I curled up against his side and shut my eyes for a moment to calm my breathing.
Once I was able to open them again without the room spinning, I looked at the door. “I wonder where Mia and Zane went.”
Callum shrugged. “Left, probably, once they heard… Well.” He set aside his water bottle and turned to me, wrapping both arms around me now. “They’ll manage.”
I nodded and let him draw me close. For a moment, we just laid there, holding each other in the dim light. The sky outside had gone bright with the light of early afternoon, but the curtains filtered most of it out.
“So.” Callum tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, exposing my neck. “You’re a princess. The princess.”
“Please don’t make it weird,” I muttered. “I don’t want anyone to treat me any differently. Least of all you.”
Callum pulled back just enough, propping himself up on one elbow, to look at me. His finger traced a line from the bottom of my jaw to my collarbone, making me shiver a little.
“Your wolf,” he said then, glancing at me almost furtively. “You lost it.”
