Arriving at my club, I alighted after double–parking and left the security guard to handle the rest.

I made my way into the club, the music blaring loudly, but somehow I wasn’t feeling it tonight. I headed straight to the elevator and pressed the button.

“Boss?” I heard someone calling from the crowd, but I ignored it. I didn’t need any greetings tonight. I was too furious.
