The Rose He Showed Off Is Putting Down Roots in a Garden of Her Own novel Chapter 152

Unfortunately, Elara said she was busy.

Zane's hopes were dashed.

Even though she couldn't make it tonight, he still needed to prepare some things in advance.

Zane let Jasper leave work early and drove over to see Sebastian.

Seeing Zane looking so incredibly pleased with himself, Sebastian assumed the company had just landed a massive new project.

Turns out, Zane was just there for condoms.

He didn't trust the store-bought ones. The Sapphire Lounge stocked exclusive brands, running hundreds of dollars a piece, all stamped with luxury logos.

Sebastian was a genius at making money.

A fifty-dollar condom sold for a hundred percent profit only made you fifty dollars. But a five-hundred-dollar one with a fifty percent margin netted you two hundred and fifty.

That was why everything at The Sapphire Lounge was a high-end custom collaboration with luxury brands. Basically, they just licensed the logo. Quality wasn't guaranteed, but it was expensive and exclusive.

The club made a massive profit off these items every year.

As for whether clients thought it was a rip-off, that wasn't his problem.

If you wanted to play at his establishment, you had to have deep pockets. If making money was hard for you, that was your issue to deal with.

These hidden fees not only elevated the club's status but also filtered out the low-end clientele.

Because in his club, anywhere you looked, you had to spend money.

Even the custom doors on the VIP rooms pulled in a small fortune every year, simply because some clients liked to kick things when they were drunk. One kick could easily cost them ten thousand dollars in damages.

If they asked, they were told it was a custom luxury piece. If they asked again, it was rare rosewood that couldn't be repaired.

In reality, it was just cheap wood with a fancy veneer.

Sebastian was a little confused. Zane had been divorced for years and never needed these, which left only one possibility. "Did your gift box finally work?"
