The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 1020

Chapter 1020: Taken Home

From the grand hall, the helpful young ladies decided to scurry off as fast as they could.

They had realized something very important.

The only reason Young Lords Kyros and Mylor didn’t seem like they had a single menacing bone in their bodies was because behind each of them stood the exact opposite kind of existence.

The farewell was quick.

Painfully quick.

Even though they wanted to stay and talk more with the surprisingly approachable and adorable lords, survival instincts took priority.

It would be better to do that another time.

Preferably, when those two terrifying figures weren’t nearby. While Lord Mylor had been carted off and one of the pillars had disappeared, the one left behind was already more than the ladies could handle, so they had no choice but to say their goodbyes.

Young Lord Aziel, of course, wanted to protest the blatant disrespect.

But the ladies, despite his status, decided it would be much safer to drag him along with them.

"Hey! What do you think you’re doing?!" Aziel complained, sounding very much like a teen throwing a tantrum.

The ladies simply laughed.

"Ho ho ho ho."

They bowed politely.

And then they left.

Just like that.

Luca reached out slightly, as if to call them back.

"Huh? Right away?" he said, tilting his head toward his husband. "We didn’t even get their names..."

"It’s fine," Xavier replied smoothly. "You’ll likely see them again."

"Oh, then that’s good." Luca nodded, reassured for a moment before his expression shifted. "But what about my brother? Is Kyle mad?"

"He should be fine."

"Really?"

Luca looked at him with concern.

Xavier noticed the hesitation and simply pulled him closer, his hand resting securely around Luca as he gave a slow nod.

"Really."

Because if there was anyone to worry about, the Imperial Crown Prince figured it would be more appropriate to worry about his adjutant’s mental health.

Moreover, shouldn’t they be thinking about themselves at a time like this?

"Do you want to tell me about your concerns regarding relationships fizzling out?" his husband asked, raising a brow at his little wife, who jolted in sudden panic.

But maybe he really should have known better than to think things would go his way.

After all, with a flurry of alarming lines like "Husband! Please tell me how to seduce you!" and "Can you please show me the look?" maybe he shouldn’t have asked about the impossible.

To be fair, the youngest Nox had been doing quite well.

For the most part.

It probably helped that his little star was currently undergoing some sort of internal reboot after processing far too many things at once.

Like when Kyle said they were going "home."

He had actually meant it literally.

"Given the nature of our family’s role, our capital estate has always been near the Imperial Palace," Kyle explained as he drove.

Technically, Ollie heard all of that.

But unfortunately, his brain was already too busy trying to process the fact that his boyfriend looked completely legitimate behind the controls of a hovercraft.

It was... deeply unsettling how much that swept him off his feet.

Baaaah!

But really, why were they going to the Nox estate?

In the middle of the night?

Just to talk?

Ollie was not someone who strictly followed Imperial etiquette.

In fact, he had come dangerously close to committing accidental treason, likely more than once, as he had graciously offered to unknowingly whack the Imperial Crown Prince.

But even the mess that was Oliver Mylor had standards.

And showing up at someone else’s home without notice?

That was one of them.

His parents would absolutely gut him if he ever did that without a justifiable reason.

Not because they disliked guests, but because it would stress out the house staff who took pride in properly welcoming visitors.

And yet—

Look at what they were doing.

Wasn’t this completely scandalous?!

The blonde stared as the manor gates opened for them.

He couldn’t even take in the size of the estate as lights began turning on one after another, reacting to their arrival.

It was an alarmingly breathtaking sight.

But he was far too busy shaking to appreciate it.

"You do realize you’ve already met my parents and my brother, right?" Kyle said calmly.

"In fact, you’ve more than just met them. With all those shared experiences, this is basically trivial."

That was honestly an understatement for the sake of his passenger princess, but really, as someone who had taken over their matchbox of a dorm room, this was truly nothing but semantics.

"Yes! But—"

Ollie faltered.

Because he didn’t know how to explain it.

It was true that he had no problem coming and going when visiting Kyle’s family in their dungeon cabins.
