Tara is dressed in a plain white t-shirt, worn-in jeans, and canvas sneakers. Her hair is tied back in an effortless ponytail, and her face is entirely bare of makeup. Yet, her natural, luminous skin and striking features make it impossible to look away.

The other four guests are a stark contrast. Aside from Jade, there is the A-list celebrity Ana, the wealthy socialite Amanda, and the fiercely independent pop singer Tina. They are decked out in full glam, styled flawlessly in designer clothes as if they are stepping onto a red carpet rather than surviving in the wilderness.

“Sorry, I got the call time mixed up,” Tara says, her voice steady-neither apologetic nor defensive.

Ana lets out a sharp scoff. “These young celebrities really think they own the place, making industry seniors wait in the dirt.”

“Seriously. Saving the grand entrance for last. How desperate for attention,” Amanda chimes in, crossing her arms.

Jade bites her lip, throwing the camera a distressed look. “Please don’t be mad. My sister probably just had a rough morning.”

Tara doesn’t bother explaining. Defending herself now will only give them more ammunition. The live stream has been rolling since the moment she stepped out of the car, and the chat is already an

absolute warzone.

“Tara is so disrespectful! Making everyone wait for her? Who does she think she is?”

“Is no one going to talk about Tara’s bare face? She looks flawless.”

“Jade is too kind, always defending her toxic sister.”

“Honestly, Tara looks like she dressed for the actual show. The rest of them look ridiculous out here.”

The director steps forward with a megaphone. “All guests have arrived. Welcome to The Elite Circle! For the next seven days, you will cook your own meals, clean your own quarters, and survive our daily challenges. Now, let’s get straight to business. Open your luggage. It’s time for the contraband

check.”

Tara crouches down and unzips her small suitcase. Inside is nothing but a few practical changes of clothes and basic toiletries. The other women’s massive trunks are overflowing with luxury makeup palettes, gourmet snacks, and high-tech beauty devices. Jade’s oversized luggage is the worst offender, stuffed to the brim with silk evening gowns and high-end cosmetics.

“According to our survival rules, luxury items are strictly prohibited,” a crew member announces, immediately sweeping the items into confiscation bins.

Ana panics, grabbing a handful of jars. “My face masks! My skin will literally peel off without these!”

Amanda clutches a plush fabric to her chest. “You can’t take my silk pillow! I have insomnia!”

Jade blinks her wide, teary eyes at the director. “Please, can I at least keep my sunscreen? My skin is incredibly sensitive.” She is internally panicking; a week in the brutal sun without protection will ruin her radiant complexion.
