"Stop showing off, Tara. I know Danny has your back right now, but do you honestly think he'll pamper you forever? What happens when he gets bored and dumps you? You'll still have to come crawling back to the Dennis family. We are your only true safety net. Do you understand that?"

He takes a breath, lowering his voice. "If you let the company go this time and tell James to drop the case, we'll wipe the slate clean. You can even move back into the family estate. How does that sound?"
