Evan glares at Danny, genuinely baffled by what Tara sees in him. So what if he is taller, more striking, and built better? So what if he has a bit more money, power, and connections? Is that really enough for her to stand against him? She used to care about him more than anyone. She used to listen to his every word and love only him.

"Hey, don't stare at me like that. I'm into women," Danny says, taking a deliberate step back with a look of utter revulsion.

"That's not what I meant!" Evan wheezes, feeling like he might actually pass out from the rage.

"Danny, Luke, please don't be so hard on Evan," Jade's sweet voice interrupts. She has been standing there completely ignored for ages. "He is my fiancé now, and he has nothing to do with my sister anymore. He only cares about her because we are all part of the Dennis family."

Deep down, Jade is seething. She is used to being the center of attention, but now all these men are fiercely fighting over Tara. The worst part is that the man she stole from this bitch is now jealous over her, competing with another elite billionaire. They are all revolving around Tara!

She is dying of jealousy, but she forces herself to swallow the fury and play the innocent victim.

"Who the hell are you?" Luke sneers, holding nothing back. "An adopted daughter calling herself part of the Dennis family? She doesn't even claim those idiot brothers of hers, so why would she acknowledge an outsider like you? You've got some nerve."

Tara watches the exchange with deep satisfaction. She makes a mental note to ally with Luke more often. Whenever she runs into these blind idiots, she can just unleash him to do the dirty work.
