Bonnie is practically vibrating with outrage as she continues her rant. "But that is not even the worst part. The real daughter, Tara, is actively trying to seduce Danny! The Calhouns and the Sinclairs have a rock-solid marriage alliance! How dare this D-list celebrity try to wedge herself in? It is completely unacceptable!"
Lindsay’s serene expression falters, replaced by a sharp frown. "Is this true?"
"It gets worse!" Bonnie exclaims. "She dragged Danny into joining some new reality show, and he actually agreed to do it! I’ve been sick to my stomach all day. Julianna is brilliant, flawless, and utterly perfect. She shouldn't have to tolerate being disrespected by some rebellious upstart from the Dennis family. It is an absolute outrage!"
Julianna, who has been quietly sipping her tea, finally sighs. "Bonnie, enough. Stop bothering Grandma with this nonsense."
"This isn't nonsense! This is about your future marriage!" Lindsay corrects sharply, her protective instincts flaring.
"Exactly!" Bonnie agrees vehemently. "Julianna, what are we going to do? Should I call Mrs. Calhoun? Or maybe we need to bring your parents into this..."
"No, absolutely not," Julianna says, rubbing her temples. "It is a minor inconvenience. My parents are buried in classified research right now. I am not disrupting their work over petty socialite drama."
Lindsay looks at her granddaughter with a mixture of immense pride and deep frustration. Julianna is always so independent and rational, pouring her heart into her laboratory and botanical studies. But that same dedication leaves a massive void in her personal life. She rarely makes time for Danny, and if she isn't careful, another woman will easily snatch him away.
