Evan is the next to leave. He lingers, desperate for a chance to say goodbye to Tara or even offer her a ride. But her gaze sweeps right past him as if he doesn't exist, twisting the knife in his already aching chest. Utterly drained from the show's relentless drama, Evan climbs into his car without another word.
Nearby, Tara waits for the agency to pick her and Loretta up. Danny saunters over, his presence immediately commanding the space. "Let me give you a ride."
"It’s okay, the company car is already here," Loretta blurts out, her eyes widening in panic. She knows perfectly well Danny only wants to drive Tara; she's just a convenient excuse. Terrified of interrupting their alone time, Loretta seizes her chance the moment the agency van pulls up, scrambling inside.
Tara moves to follow her, but Danny steps into her path, blocking the door. "I can drop you off. It's on my way."
"Taking the company van is much more efficient. Let's not trouble you with a detour," Tara replies coolly.
Danny arches a brow. Is this little firecracker genuinely angry? She couldn't possibly be icing him out the second the cameras stop rolling, could she?
"Are you mad? Because of Julianna? I was on my best behavior. I didn't say a single word to her the entire time."
