"Wh-what?" Now it is Julianna's turn to be caught off guard, not understanding what she means.
"I mean that Gavin's eye color has already been cured. He is not wearing colored contacts at all; this is his natural, normal eye color."
As soon as Tara finishes speaking, everyone curiously looks at Gavin again. Upon closer inspection, he really doesn't seem to be wearing colored contacts. After all, if you look closely, there is a difference between wearing them and not wearing them. Furthermore, there is nothing to hide because it simply cannot be hidden.
"Wow, really? Gavin, your eyes are cured! How exactly did you do it?" Seeing that her little cousin's eyes are better, Bonnie is naturally genuinely happy for him. This way, he doesn't have to wear colored contacts that affect his eyes, nor does he have to feel insecure about his strange eye color. She had thought that once Gavin learned to wear colored contacts, he would never be able to take them off in front of others. Turns out, his eyes are completely cured!
"Naturally, it was this lady right here who cured him," Tara says with a beaming smile.
"You?" Bonnie's beautiful eyes widen in disbelief.
"Of course. If you don't believe me, ask your brother, or you can even ask your grandmother," Tara says, looking at her and intentionally asking, "Are you happy? Are you surprised? Are you thrilled?"
"S-since when do you know how to heal people?" Bonnie questions, her face full of doubt.
