Tara glances at Jade, then at the old lady's expression, immediately understanding this fool's true purpose for coming here today. Perfect. She is just about to hand her a massive gift to thank her for her scheming back at the Blackwood Creek Resort.
"That is right, Miss Sinclair, you shouldn't go around calling just anyone a sister. You might think you are kindred spirits, but what if you turn out to be actual sisters? Could you handle that?"
Tara's loaded words confuse Bonnie once again, prompting her to blurt out, "What are you talking about?"
"I mean, what if you call her your good sister now, but when it turns out you are actually sisters, you can't accept it and throw a massive tantrum? What would you do then?"
"What do you mean, real sisters, fake sisters? What are you getting at?" Bonnie still does not understand. Even though she doesn't get it, she senses Tara is trying to imply something, which only makes her angrier.
"I mean, what if you and Jade are blood-related sisters? Could you accept that?" Tara stops beating around the bush and tears right through the thin veil of secrecy.
The words drop like a bombshell exploding in the middle of the living room.
The confusion on Bonnie's face instantly solidifies as all the color drains from her cheeks. She stares wide-eyed in sheer disbelief, as if listening to a bizarre fairy tale. Her voice trembles. "Y-you... what did you say? Me and Jade? Blood sisters? Tara, are you out of your mind? Do you have any idea what kind of nonsense you are spouting!"
