"But if we aren't there, how are we supposed to pull anything off?" Jade asks, clearly confused.

Jovani suppresses a groan. Her daughter is painfully dense. Since when does pulling the strings require being on the stage? Can't she hire someone else to do the dirty work?

"Don't worry," Jovani sneers. "If the Sinclair family attends, Julianna will definitely tag along. She might play the innocent saint, but I know she secretly despises Tara."
