*Ana's pnt of view*
I couldn't move.
I could barely breathe.
Why wasn't I trying to get away?
The bat! The bat!
Before my mind could fully register it, my feet went bolting.
I ran towards the door, and opened it, just to find the bald eagle standing at my door. Shocked and slightly afraid at his leering stance, I closed the door and faced the approaching predator. I quickly eased my hand behind the flowerpot and pulled out the bat.
I extended it between him and I, as I sign that he stay away from you.
"Ana-"
"What are you doing here? What do you want?" I questioned frantic.
"What do you think?" He asked calmly.
"No. I am not going back with you." I said determined.
"See I remember telling you specifically that if you wanted to run, you had to make sure that it was far enough that I couldn't catch you." He stated, as he shrugged.
"There's no way, just no way that you could've found me. How did you find me?!" I yelled, trying to make sense of how fast my life was spiraling downhill.
"How do you think?" He asked looking down at me.
"John? No! No way, I don't believe it." I said shaking my head.
"No not John! You have my car, you didn't think to get rid of it?" He said then laughed, as though he was mocking my efforts.
"Get out!" I ordered, my heart breaking.
I got away from him, how the heck was he back?
"No can do princess. I'm here to get you back." He simply stated, placing his hands in his pockets, looking at me smugly.
"Yeah, no. Get out! Leave me alone! And take your stupid car!" I said raising the bat.
"You gonna hit me with that?" He stated as he approached me.
"Maybe. S-stay where you are!" I stuttered as he got closer, "I'm serious, I have the bat and I'm not afraid to use it!" I warned.
"Oh yeah? Then use it. Hit me." He challenged, as he opened his arms in sign of vulnerability.
"Hit me." He stated again when I didn't move.
"Hit me Ana, because if you fail to hit me, once I disarm you, there is no escape. So if you're going to hit me, do it!" He challenged once more.
My hands were moving before I could decide what to do.
I took a swing at him, and he caught it in his hand.
He used the bat to pull me to his chest, and he wrapped an arm around waist, keeping me pinned to him. I released the bat and began to struggle against his hold. I slapped his chest, I punched and scratched at him. At some point he chuckled at my actions, and then just bent down and picked me up throwing me over his shoulder.
"Oh my God! Oh my God! Jaxon! Jaxon put me down!" I struggled, but his grip became an iron fist, and I don't know of it was fear or instinct, but I froze. I froze right before my mouth went to work.
Using my arms, I pushed my upper body off him, then sunk my teeth into his shoulder.
Her groaned, and dropped me, and I tried to run for it.
Key word: Tried.
He turned sharply and grabbed my hand, he turned us pinning my back to the nearest wall, and my hands were being held captive in his.
We were both breathing hard, his eyes stormy and blue.
"Don't run away from me. You don't get to leave me." He said in a gruff tone, then before I could reply, he crashed his lips on mine.
He kissed me but I didn't respond.
I let him do what he wanted then he pulled away, his eyes troubled.
"Don't tell me what to do." I told him off after a moment of silence.
He laughed. He just laughed.
Then he let go of my hands, and made his way to the living room.
I didn't move for a while, it wasn't until I heard the TV that I snapped out of my daze. I walked dizzily towards the living room to find Jaxon sitting on the couch, his legs on my coffee table, his arms behind his head, his eyes on the TV.
"Jaxon, you need to leave." I stated, keeping a respectable distance.
He rested his hand on my lower back, and kissed my ear, as the operator answered "911, what is you emergency?"
I gulped and opened my mouth "there's a man in my house." I stated then gasped when his grip became firm, as his teeth nipped the tip of my ear.
"Do you know this man?" Asked the operator.
"Yes..." I stated in a gasp.
"Can you tell me this man's name?" She Asked.
"Jaxon!" I stated, and he kissed my neck.
He whispered, "say my name again."
"His name is Jaxon!" I exclaimed.
"Tell them what I'm doing." He ordered, his lips dancing over my ear.
"Tell them." He said, his other hand now cupping my right cheek.
"Are you in danger? Is he threatening you?"
"He's..."
"Tell them!" He ordered again.
"He's... Oh God!" I moaned on the phone as his lips traveled from the base of my ear, down my neck.
"Ma'am? Ma'am are you okay? Help is on the way!"
"No!" I exclaimed, a sudden embarrassment settling on my cheeks, at the thought of an officer seeing me in this position.
"No?" Asked the operator.
"No, no. I'm okay. Thank you!" I quickly ended the call dropping the phone.
We stayed frozen for a second, him holding me, and me barely breathing, then he backed up, and with a smug smile he added "next time, think twice before you think to call the police on me."
He headed down the hall to the bathroom, as though he owned the place, and I still found myself stuck in place...
What the heck was I going to do?
