The SSS-rank Guide Doesn't Need Saving novel Chapter 154

Chapter 154: "Are You Invulnerable to Miasma?"

Aisha’s eyes turned gloomier as she realized her older brother wasn’t there.

With a push, the corpse fell off her, and she stood up. The aura of the Sentinel did nothing to her. Even though she had heard that Guides weren’t invincible to a Sentinel’s pressure, it seemed that law didn’t apply to her. Or maybe she was just unable to recognize the laws of this world because her soul was not of this world and could not accept them.

In any case, this was perfect for her.

The man looked even more sinister as the smoke returned, blocking everything from sight.

"You saw where she’s standing! Go and surround her!" He barked the order as he readied himself to attack as well. The humiliation of being ambushed and reduced to their small number in less than a minute was not something he could swallow.

As a Sentinel, he had never come across a situation where a young woman whose height only came up to his waist had made him suffer like this. The pain in his back was a nagging reminder that he must make her pay!

If he didn’t rip her spine from her body while she was alive, he’d quit being a Sentinel!

There were only three more guards left, excluding the hulking Sentinel. Initially, there were fifteen guards overseeing this place. Ten of them were stationed to guard this room, whereas two were supposed to guard the door outside, but it seemed that they were the ones who fell first.

However, in that short time, eleven of them were reduced to four!

While their men were dying without a sound, they were still scrambling around, swinging and pointing their weapons at nothing, and had no idea when it would be their turn to die.

After listening to the Sentinel’s order, they put up their defenses immediately. However, they were faced with a problem!

The smoke from the six fireballs mixing with the smoke bombs had left the entire room completely covered in white mist. Now, even if they wanted to join the fight and kill whoever was attacking them, they had to know the exact location of their enemy first!

Fortunately, they still had the Sentinel with them. He had more advanced senses than them and possessed the power unique to a Sentinel. That fire ability of his made him intimidating and so fearful that no one dared to go against him.

However, what shocked them was that Aisha did not stop moving. Aisha’s body shot out like an arrow and headed straight toward the guard who was closing in on her. Ducking her head slightly, she pointed the hand holding the Rail Emitter and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

Blood and brain matter splattered everywhere. The man fell silently to the ground.

Seeing this happen with his senses trained on Aisha’s figure, the Sentinel was instantly angered.

"You... who exactly are you?!" The Sentinel’s nostrils flared as he roared. "How dare a tiny thing like you kill my men! I’m going to make you regret ever stepping foot in this place!"

Aisha exhaled at his words, slightly irritated at being called small. She wasn’t small by any means. He was just a moving tower, which was why he thought she was small!

Ignoring the hulking Sentinel, Aisha moved across the room and reached the other guard. He was trying to sneak up on her with his blade already drawn. Unfortunately, he had met someone like her.

There were only two more people left.

When the Sentinel thought she would go for the other guard, he made a plan to get behind her while she dealt with him. With her attention on the other guard, she would definitely not notice him!

But unexpectedly, the moment Aisha made a move toward the other guard, she suddenly spun in the opposite direction. Her hand disappeared behind her back as she sprinted toward the Sentinel, who was also running toward her at full speed.
