He pointed at the plaza. “This place belongs to the Sharps. Mr. Sharp himself promised Tycoon Boss she could set up here and sell her goods. We’re law–abiding folks waiting in line to buy, not troublemakers. You can’t chase people away without a reason.”

An older woman named Matilda Johnson quickly spoke up, raising her voice, “That’s right! Tycoon Boss only sells good stuff, and her prices are fair. No scams, no tricks! If anyone tries to make trouble and stop us from buying, I’ll be the first to say no way!”

She put her hands on her hips, looking like someone ready to block an entire army.

The people in line picked up her energy and shouted in support.

Standing in front of the slightly stirred crowd was the calmest and oldest–looking man, dressed in a black

ailcoat. He was Jeremy.

His face showed no anger or impatience at all.

He stepped forward and gave a small, graceful bow. A polite and steady smile appeared on his face. “Everyone, please calm down. We didn’t come to make trouble, and we’re definitely not here to drive anyone away.”

He paused and looked calmly across the crowd, and the noise quickly quieted.

“Just like all of you, we came to stand in line and buy Ms. Schofield’s products.”

The men behind him, still neat in their suits, nodded together and added politely, “Yes, we’re just here to queue up and purchase items.”

That answer left the crowd stunned.

With how fancy they looked, they came here just to line up for potatoes and sweet potatoes?

It felt strangely out of place.

But they stayed quiet and walked to the very end of the line, which had already wrapped around the corner. Seeing they showed no signs of cutting in or acting superior, people slowly let out relieved breaths.

“Oh… So they’re just here to shop…”

“That scared me so bad…”

“That’s good, then.” Matilda patted her chest, her smile coming back. “Tycoon Boss’s goods are just that good. They even drew in… people like them.”

For a second, she struggled to find the right words to describe Jeremy and the others.

Even after clearing up the misunderstanding, Jeremy and his group still stood out a lot. Their clothing and posture looked totally different from the casually dressed crowd.

While waiting, people kept sneaking looks at them and whispering, guessing who they might be..

Jeremy and his men, on the other hand, stayed as still as statues, staring forward in silence. Their quiet stillness made a strange contrast with the growing excitement around them.

Time passed slowly, filled with curiosity, anticipation, and restlessness.

When the clock hit nine, a sudden stir ran through the line.

“They’re here! Tycoon Boss is here!”

“I really hope she brought more stock this time. I showed up too late at the Free Market before and couldn’t reserve anything.”

Elizabeth showed up right on time with her team–Fiona, Tasha, Peter, and Selina.

Today, Elizabeth wore her usual simple work outfit, her face bright with a warm, friendly smile.

The young people behind her were still quite young, but they looked much more confident after last time.

Even so, when Fiona saw the line stretching ahead–longer than before and almost disappearing into the distance–she blinked in surprise.

Then she quietly breathed out in relief and instinctively touched the storage button on her wrist.

Good thing Elizabeth had planned. This time, they brought more than twice as much stock, or it definitely wouldn’t have been enough.

The instant people saw them, the whole place lit up like fans spotting their favorite celebrities.

Everyone rushed to greet Elizabeth, their voices mixing together into loud chaos.

“Good morning, Tycoon Boss!”

“Tycoon Boss, I didn’t get even one potato last time. I have to buy more today!”

“Tycoon Boss, I can’t even swallow my liquid supplements without your potatoes. These past two days

were torture!”

“Tycoon Boss, I want 100 strawberries, 100 potatoes, and 100 sweet potatoes!”

“Tycoon Boss, same for me–100 of each! My whole family is waiting for this meal!”

Elizabeth smiled and answered everyone warmly while quickly telling Fiona and the others to set up the

stall.
