Only then did Elizabeth look at her, her eyes cold. “Who did I scam?”

“You’re still denying it?!” Hannah looked heartbroken. “You must be using the Hewitts‘ name to sell these worthless potatoes and sweet potatoes at crazy prices! This is fraud! This is wrong! You’re ruining the Hewitts‘ reputation!”

Thinking she had found Elizabeth’s weak spot, she sounded full of confidence.

So she kept going, making her voice sound even more sincere. “I know you’re all paying such high prices because of the Hewitts. But I need to tell you the truth. My sister isn’t liked in the Hewitts at all! They won’t take responsibility for anything like this! So please return the good and get your money back. The Hewitts won’t trouble any of you. As she spoke, she actually reached out and tried to grab the bag of potatoes and sweet potato from the middle–aged woman, trying to force her to return them.

The middle–aged woman clutched her bag tightly to herself like it was a treasure, and glared a Hannah angrily. Her spit nearly flew into Hannah’s face as she scolded, “You crazy woman! Where did you come from?!

“I waited almost two hours for these, and you want me to return them?! What are you trying to do?! You couldn’t buy any, so now you’re trying to steal mine with this dirty trick? Dream on! I you touch my stuff again, I won’t go easy on you!”

Her shout spoke for everyone.

The whole crowd exploded.

“Yeah! Where did this crazy woman come from?”

“She’s dumb and thinks everyone else is too?”

“We’ll know if Tycoon Boss’s stuff is good once we try it ourselves. No one needs her giving us a whole lecture!”

“And the Hewitts? We’re buying the food itself! What does that have to do with them?”

“She’s just jealous the business is doing so well!”

A storm of angry voices and blame slammed into Hannah and Zachary.
