Just as she was about to give up, something in the search results caught her attention. “Energy stone harvesting support unit.”
Elizabeth clicked on the link, and her eyes sparkled with excitement.
Mining for energy stones was always a nightmare. Most deposits were tangled up with all sorts of secondary minerals, and energy stones themselves were fragile.
If you tried to extract them in bulk, you’d lose a huge amount, and the quality would tank.
That’s why, after the initial prep, the real work always fell to people or specialized robots that could handle the job with precision.
These robots could locate a vein, dig out small sections, haul away debris, and sort the stones right on site. Every single function matched what she needed for clearing new farmland.
She needed to remove trash, break up packed earth, level the ground, and pull out rocks and junk. It was almost the same job.
If she just changed the robot’s recognition settings and swapped out the harvesting claws for rakes or plows, she’d have the perfect land–clearing machine. The idea made her nearly giddy.
The only catch was the price tag.
Even the entry–level “Miner Model I” could dig, haul, and sort, but its intelligence was low, and it needed at least ten percent human oversight for real–time adjustments and troubleshooting.
The price was five million stellar coins for each one.
The top–tier “Core VII” boasted premium AI and multispectral scanning. It could chart the best route on its own, handle any terrain, and didn’t need a single person to help.
That model started at 180 million stellar coin, and any customization sent the price even higher.
Elizabeth stared at the long string of zeroes on the screen. She had thought that, with 1.6 billion left after buying Mercury Plaza, she could throw money around however she wanted.
Now she realized that even a fortune could vanish instantly when it came to real industrial machines.
She dismissed the high–end models.
Buying just ten would’ve drained her account.

The efficiency was tempting, but the price was ridiculous.
The “Miner Model I” needed more people to supervise, but her current staff could handle it. Most importantly, it was cheap.
She hardly hesitated. She gritted her teeth and ordered twenty units.
The total came to 100 million stellar coins.
When she confirmed the purchase and watched the zeros disappear from her account, her heart nearly stopped.
She’d just spent 100 million on twenty chunks of metal.
But that was only the beginning.
Robots didn’t eat, but they devoured energy stones.
They were efficient, but their consumption was relentless.
On average, each “Miner Model I” went through at least 50 thousand stellar coins in energy stones every month. Twenty units meant a million a month just for fuel.
That didn’t even include the massive energy drain from the farm’s Spiritbound Circle, cloud- and–rain formation, Sword Light Formation, and the new defensive circle under construction.
Those were true gluttons, and she’d need a mountain of top–grade energy stones to keep everything running as the farm grew.
Elizabeth pressed a hand to her aching chest and forced herself to check off a staggering 200 million stellar coins for energy stones on the procurement list.
Her account balance took another brutal hit.
With land clearing and energy sorted out, she had to deal with storage next.
Once all those seeds were in the ground, the harvest would be enormous. Her current storage buttons didn’t come close to cutting it.
She needed more cold storage buttons.
The basic button held 3500 cubic feet and cost 100 thousand Stellar Coins, good for small batches or as portable crates for market stalls.
The luxury button held 350 thousand cubic feet, kept everything fresh, and cost ten million
stellar coins.
