The assistant felt a shock rip through his body, and his legs gave out beneath him.

The room spun wildly before Septimus wrenched his arm behind his back and drove him face- first into the polished, icy floor. He lay there, immobile, reduced to ragged breaths and strangled groans.

Everything unfolded in a split second, so fast it blurred the senses.

By the time George and Ryan realized what was happening, the Seafarm Group assistants who had strutted in with such menace were sprawled on the ground, discarded and powerless.

Hexo and Septimus returned to their posts behind Elizabeth, as silent and stoic as statues. Their faces betrayed nothing, but a glint of lethal resolve still flickered in their eyes.

Rufusface drained of all color. His pupils shrank as he looked from his broken assistants to the two men stationed at Elizabeth’s back, and then to Elizabeth herself, whose expression never shifted.

A cold dread crawled up his spine, impossible to shake.

He had never imagined this woman would have such fearsome people standing ready at her side.

Fine. Very well, then!Rufus spat the words, his eyes burning with fury. Elizabeth, I’ll remember today. This isn’t the end of it!

He shot a venomous glare at his defeated men, ignoring George and Ryan completely. He stormed out, his posture radiating humiliation and rage he could barely contain.

His two assistants staggered upright, leaning on each other as they limped out after him.

The conference room plunged into silence. The atmosphere utterly changed.

George finally exhaled, as if a massive weight had been lifted from his chest. He looked at Elizabeth with gratitude and lingering apprehension. Ms. Schofield, thank you. Seafarm Group is out of control

Ryan still looked shaken. He said, Ms. Schofield, Rufus never lets a grudge go. He was humiliated in front of everyone today, so there’s no way he’ll drop this. Seafarm Group will throw everything they’ve got at you. You need to watch your back

Elizabeth nodded, serene and unflinching. Relax, Mr. Sharp. I know exactly what I’m doing. Rufus is just a clown. He doesn’t matter.

She didn’t spare another thought for Rufus or his threats and instead turned to her real reason for coming.

Mr. Sharp, I actually wanted to discuss the next steps for Mercury Plaza. This is Fiona, my assistant. She’ll handle the transition. I also have another favor to ask.

George said, Just tell us what you need. We’ll help however we can.

Elizabeth pulled up a simple digital sketch. Mercury Plaza’s location is excellent, but the design and amenities are outdated. I want to completely renovate it into a themed plaza focused on natural cuisine experiences.”

She pointed out zones on the sketch. I want the architecture to match the food and nature theme. The entire layout needs to be reworked for comfort and atmosphere. I need a construction company I can trust, with real experience.

Ryan listened, his eyes shining brighter as her vision became clear.

This wasn’t some impulse; it was a meticulous plan.

He suppressed his excitement and answered with genuine gravity. Ms. Schofield, Sharp Group owns Evergreen Construction. We’ve handled plenty of commercial renovations on Imperial Planet, and our reputation is excellent. We’d love to take this on if it’s fine with you, and I’ll make sure our best people are on it to meet your standards.

Elizabeth read the sincerity in Ryan’s gaze and nodded without a second thought. I trust you, Mr. Sharp. Evergreen Construction can take the project. You and Fiona can work together on the plans and design.

Ryan’s delight was obvious. He turned to Fiona. Ms. Powell, I look forward to working with you.”

Fiona nodded politely. Thank you, Mr. Sharp.

With Mercury Plaza’s renovation and all its details handed over to Ryan, Elizabeth let the matter go completely.

Negotiating with Seafarm and talking about the plaza? Her passion lay elsewhere. She felt most alive and secure on her farm, working with her beloved crops.
