Chapter 3
The next second. Priscilla’s phone in her pocket started vibrating.
She took it out, looked at the flashing words ‘husband‘ on the screen, and didn’t answer.
The “beep beep‘ sound of the phone waiting to be answered kept echoing in the living room through the speaker.
Angelo frowned slightly when he made 8 calls in a row without the other party answering.
Miley handed him the coffee and comforted him softly, “Maybe Prissie is busy, that’s why she didn’t answer the phone.
Let’s try again later.”
Angelo nodded, but accidentally spilled his coffee when he hung up the phone, soaking all the documents.
The tissues on the table ran out. Miley was about to get up to grab some, but then he called out to Priscilla to bring
some new ones.
Priscilla picked up a package and saw “8 missed calls on his phone screen.
Just a string of numbers, no notes.
Originally, Angelo didn’t even have her phone number saved, no wonder he didn’t find it when he just called, the person
he was looking for was right beside him.
She smiled silently, got up and went into the kitchen, made herself a simple breakfast.
After coming out with the sandwich, she saw that he had started making a phone call again, but she still didn’t answer.
Angelo got fed up and walked to the study.
“I think I changed my number, I’ll go ask someone for the contact information of Radren’s Starlight Law Firm.”
Upon hearing this, Priscilla’s eyes froze.
If he had contacted her previous law firm, knowing their gossiping nature, they would have spilled all her secrets
And now she doesn’t want him to know those things, so she shifts her gaze to Miley.
‘Ms. Garcia, I happen to know a little about the issue you want to know. In Truonga’s divorce lawsuit the plaintiff was
asked to provide..”
She briefly explained the application of that law. Miley didn’t quite understand, so she quickly called Angelo out

“How did you know all this?”
Priscilla took a sip of milk, her voice soft.
