Chapter 374 I Want to Help You
The hotel staff asked politely, “Sure thing. What kind of flowers would you like to order?”

“Red roses,” Brandon said. “Get one hundred stems of the freshest top–grade red roses. Wrap the bouquet in plain matte black paper and tie it with silver satin ribbon. Leave out all extra decorations–i want a bold, striking look with nothing extra added.”
The staff quickly jotted down his requests and asked again, “Would you like to attach a greeting card?”
Brandon replied plainly, “No need. Have them delivered straight to my room first thing tomorrow morning.”
After hanging up the call, he picked up his wine glass once more. He pictured how Riley would react when she got the bouquet the next day.
She’d probably look shocked or annoyed, but definitely not happy.
Yet that did not matter to him at all.
These flowers were just a subtle move, meant to stir up friction between Riley and Sebastian.
He planned to keep dropping hints openly, constantly reminding Sebastian–he was here, and he would win Riley over for good.
Brandon swirled his wine glass leisurely. He gazed at the glowing city lights outside the window, feeling utterly pleased and
satisfied.
He never imagined his carefully planned gesture would end up completely futile the next morning.
The off–road vehicle drove steadily away from the city, leaving all the hustle and bustle far behind them.
The bright city buildings faded from view, replaced by quiet, shadowy mountain ranges stretching out in the dark.
Fresh scents of grass, plants, and damp earth filled the air, mixed with the cool chill unique to late–night hours.
Leaning back against the passenger seat, Riley stared at the dark scenery rushing past the window. She felt more eager and excited than ever before.
The car finally turned onto a rough gravel path and came to a stop.
The moment the engine cut off, silence fell over the entire surroundings instantly.
Sebastian unfastened his seatbelt and stepped out of the car first.
Riley followed closely behind him. The second she set foot on the ground, she was instantly stunned by the stunning view ahead.
They stood on a wide, flat mountaintop covered with soft grass.
Above their heads spread a brilliant starry sky–far brighter and clearer than anything visible in the crowded city.
The Milky Way stretched across the whole sky like a glowing silver stream, dotted with countless twinkling stars that seemed close enough to touch.

Riley let out a soft gasp, fully captivated by the vast, peaceful night scenery.
“Do you like it?” Sebastian’s deep voice sounded in her ear.

She nodded her head firmly. Starlight reflected brightly in her eyes, making them shine even more vividly than the stars
themselves.
A group of camp staff in matching uniforms soon walked over from the nearby parking area, wearing standard respectful smiles. The leading manager bowed slightly in greeting. “Good evening, Mr. Torres, Ms. Harper. We’ve reserved the entire Area A just for you, so no other guests will disturb you tonight. Please take this note with camp rules and emergency contact information.“”
He handed over an elegant card and asked politely, “It’s getting late. Would you like us to help set up your tent?”
Sebastian responded in a calm, gentle, yet distant tone, “No, thank you.”
He took the card and gestured for them to leave.
The staff did not say another word. They bowed once again and left quietly, leaving this star–lit, peaceful spot entirely for the two of
them
Riley had long grown used to such exclusive, thoughtful special treatment from Sebastian.
Sebastian drove the car to the designated camping zone, an open flat spot with the best views around.
He walked to the rear of the vehicle and opened the trunk, which was fully stocked with high–end camping supplies.
First, he took out a foldable, small stool.
The stool snapped open smoothly with a clear sound, and he set it firmly on the ground beside Riley. “Sit here and wait for me.”
Watching his tall figure busily moving back and forth between the car trunk and the open ground, Riley felt a little guilty. She stood up and spoke up. “I want to help you.”
