The Unwanted Wife's Return (Ex-Husband Wants Me Back) novel Chapter 51

Seven Years Late, Still Possessive

HANNAH’S POV:

As Elijah walked closer to me, with Lucas standing behind me I got more aggrevated than I had ever been. I was angry, I think I was about to cry. That was humiliating, and what did he expect his action to do? Make me run into his arms?

Lord knows it was taking everything in me not to punch his darn face filled with emotions I didn’t even want to read.

“Listen, Hannah…” As soon as my name escaped from his lips, I suddenly walked up to him and slapped him so hard, Lucas exclaimed and had to pull me back.

“Are you crazy? After everything you and your family have done to me, you still decided to humiliate me, change the story about me from being the gracious designer who designed half of the guest’s dresses there to probably Elijah Martinez’s mistress or a sister who takes her sister’s boyfriend. Just one night after working tirelessly and you, decide to swoop in and make it about YOU.” I spoke angrily, unloosening myself from Lucas’ grip.

Elijah clenched his jaw, and stared at me, “Hannah, I’m so sorry for ruining your night….”

I cut him off sharply, “You’re sorry?” I asked raising my eyebrow and clenched and unclenched my jaw before letting out a breath, “Sign those divorce papers, and leave me alone. I’m warning you I will get restraining order if you continue coming around everywhere I am.”

Just as I was about to leave, I froze when I heard him say, “I know..”

“I know about the twins, Amelia and Andrew, and I know they are mine. They both look like me with just a few of your facial features.” The colour on my face drained of color, and I felt some kind of chilly air on my skin.

He walked closer to me and added, “I’m sorry for ruining your evening, and I will make it up to you. But do not think for a second that I’m going to sign those divorce papers, or leave you alone. I already missed about seven years of their lives, and I’m not going to waste another second.”

“We will meet at the park where the kids go tomorrow. If you don’t show up, I will take matters into my own hands and you’re just going to hate me for that. Especially if I decide to take the kids from you.” I scoffed, appalled at his words.

He was still the jerk he always was, and always will be.

Just as Lucas was about to speak, “I don’t care who you are or your purpose in her life but don’t even try to speak to me or address me.”

Then he turned to me and smiled, “Be there tomorrow with the kids. I’m warning you, Hannah.” His tone matched mine and he walked back in fixing up his suit.

“Did that dude shut me up?” Lucas asked in disbelief and with anger that I just had to drag him into the car.

AN HOUR LATER.
