No More Gaslighting 

3RD POV: 

THREE HOURS LATER: 

The tension in the hallway was through the roof, and it was like everyone was preparing something to say. The doctor had stated that they should wait a bit longer before seeing Elijah as he was being moved to another room. So they obeyed and waited with different emotions, and thoughts running through their minds. Martin was tapping his feet repeatedly, and Janet was leaning against the wall staring at everybody. Hannah was about to head to the bathroom to wash off the blood on my hands but paused when she heard Mrs Martinez speak. 

“How are you son?” She asked Martin softly and he chuckled bitterly. 

He scratched the top of his eyebrow and softly said, “We are all here for Elijah, so please refrain yourself from talking to me and just stay the hell away from me.” 

“Don’t talk to your mother like that.” Mr Martinez said and he laughed, “So you can speak? I thought she had to tell you when to do that, or how to react or did she already whisper it to you.” 

The Martinez brothers had really been raised seeing their father just doing whatever their mother says, and never having opinion unless it was to back their mother, so they had no regard for him in any single way. 

“This is not the time nor the place, have some respect.” Mrs Martinez snapped making him roll his eyes and rise to his feet. 

Hannah exhaled shakily and walked off without hearing him say his next words. 

“See this is why you’ve made your beloved son be with a murderous woman all these years and condoning rather than correct him when he treated the right woman wrong. I am so proud of him for breaking free from your shackles, and doing right by his wife and kids.” He walked off after saying and Janet’s heart sank deeply and anger ran through her veins watching as he walked away. 

But as she made her way toward the restroom, a sharp voice stopped her.
