The Villainess Needs a Hug (Ivy Windsor) novel Chapter 912

Hearing her best friend's voice, Ivy immediately joined the fun. "Why do you want to know? Don't tell me you're planning to send wedding invitations to all of Mr. Wilson's exes?"

Katrina gave Naylor a half-smile. "I'm actually considering it. I just don't know if they'd have the guts to show up."

"Are you out of your mind?" Naylor quickly interjected, turning to glare at Katrina. "Aren't you afraid they'll crash the wedding and steal the groom?"

Jamison loved fueling the chaos. "You're an expert at crashing weddings, Naylor! You can't be the only one allowed to steal a bride. Let someone else have a turn."

"Alright, alright! Stop causing trouble, you two! You just want to laugh at me. I don't give a damn. I'm getting married, and I'm going to have kids soon, too! We're having our wedding first. Since you have nothing better to do, I'll let you be my lead groomsman. You can take notes."

Listening to his nonsense, Katrina slapped his arm playfully. "Who said anything about having your kids? We're not even married yet. Keep dreaming!"

"We have to! They have two, so we'll have three! We're going to beat them in numbers!"

On the other end of the line, Ivy laughed so hard at their childish bickering that her stomach ached. She had to press a hand against her abdomen to ease the strain.

Worried that she might pull something, Jamison quickly leaned in to check on her.

"I'm fine... You keep talking to them. Mr. Wilson is even more immature than you are. No wonder you two are best friends."

Jamison smiled, his eyes brimming with sweet affection. "A happy family, a beautiful wife in my arms. What more could a man ask for? It's hard not to be smug, and when you're this happy, it's easy to let loose and be a little childish."

It was incredibly rare for adults to drop their guard and enjoy such pure, childlike joy.

Ivy couldn't argue with that.

Knowing her best friend had finally found her happily-ever-after warmed her heart.

If she weren't still recovering from the delivery, she would have dragged Katrina out for a wild night of celebration.
