The Villainess Needs a Hug (Ivy Windsor) novel Chapter 953

"Pfft..." Ivy completely lost her composure, laughing out loud. "Since when did you become such a smooth talker?"

"I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Not even an angel descending to earth could compare."

Davina, standing beside Ivy, chimed in playfully. "You two are acting like you just met. You're a married couple, why all the blushing?"

Ivy's cheeks flushed even redder, adding to her radiant complexion.

"What do you think? If you like this one, I'll go with it. I don't really want to keep changing," Ivy asked, seeking her husband's opinion.

Truthfully, to her, most wedding gowns looked the same, and she had intentionally tried to pick simpler designs.

But Davina had insisted that with her figure and beauty, the simpler the dress, the more high-end and mesmerizing it would look on her.

And it was true. The moment she slipped into the dress, she was captivated by her own reflection in the mirror.

In the past, she always felt weddings were unnecessary—just an excuse to dress up and show off in front of a crowd. The thought of dealing with endless guests used to give her a headache.

But standing there in that gown, mesmerizing even herself, she finally understood the significance of a wedding.

It was about using the grandest of ceremonies to capture one's most beautiful moment, starting the happiest chapter of life with the most radiant face.

A wedding dress was more than just white fabric; it was the physical embodiment of a fairy tale, the brightest witness to love.

She was grateful to Jamison for insisting on this ceremony, adding another brilliant stroke to the highlight reel of her life.

Jamison nodded repeatedly, completely deaf to whatever she was saying, agreeing blindly.

At this moment, only one thought occupied his mind: *Kiss her. Kiss her right now!*

Seeing him nodding without speaking, Ivy looked into his deep, predatory gaze and instantly knew what he was thinking.

So when that devastatingly handsome face leaned in, she leaned back slightly, pressing a hand against his lips.

"What are you doing? Everyone is watching!" Ivy said, embarrassed, her cheeks burning.

Davina let out a loud "Ah," quickly turning around and closing her eyes while teasing, "Go ahead and kiss, pretend we aren't here."

Encouraged by that, Jamison reached up, caught the small hand blocking him, and pulled it down. He leaned his tall frame forward, his lips flawlessly capturing his wife's breath.

The room erupted. Some watched with blatant admiration, others covered their mouths shyly to hide their smiles, while the bolder onlookers simply whistled and cheered.

Even Ivy's ears turned bright red. She pushed against him a few times to no avail, finally playfully smacking his shoulder.

This man...

He really cared less and less about his image.

Yes, Mr. Ludwig was caring less about his image by the day.

Worried, Ivy immediately told the driver to speed up.

"I'm fine, just a little tired. It's nothing, don't worry," Jamison said, leaning back weakly against the seat, quick to comfort her when he saw her panic.

Ivy replied, "You look terrible."

"Yeah, just exhaustion."

Even though he didn't have to micromanage the wedding, he had still left the hospital for fittings and attended the grand ceremony today. Two consecutive days of exertion had taken a toll on his body.

"I'm sorry I couldn't give you a completely full wedding experience," Jamison said apologetically, holding his wife's hand.

"What wasn't full about it? The ceremony was perfect. Besides, I hate those obnoxious wedding games anyway. This gave me the perfect excuse to skip them."

They had both been heavily involved in Naylor and Katrina's wedding.

The wild pranks the guests played on the bride and groom were an absolute nightmare for anyone who hated being the center of attention.

Ivy hadn't looked forward to her own wedding mainly because attending her best friend's wild ceremony had left her slightly traumatized.

Jamison turned his head and smiled at her. Ivy leaned over, resting against his chest, and whispered softly, "Stop overthinking. I'd rather you accompany me for a complete lifetime than give me a complete wedding."

"I will," Jamison replied solemnly, their fingers intertwining tightly...
