The news of Ethan and Sophia’s upcoming wedding was trending on the second day at noon. On the third day in the evening, Evelyn saw Ethan, who looked exhausted from a long journey.
Evelyn actually didn’t want to see him, and even more so, she didn’t understand why her departure was exactly what he wanted. She had also given him. the answer he wanted, so why was he constantly entangling himself?
But he stubbornly stood downstairs of the dormitory, just like a wooden statue, unwilling to leave without seeing the person he wanted to see
The number of onlookers increased as he indulged them, until the dormitory manager saw that the impact was too great and couldn’t bear to watch anymore. He then dispersed the onlookers one by one, even driving away Ethan at least five times.
As the evening approached, the students who were watching eventually chose to go upstairs to rest, but Ethan, despite being driven away several times, never left. The dormitory manager saw that he was stubborn and eventually had no choice but to let him stand downstairs.
At ten o’clock in the evening, inside the dormitory
Ella Collins looked down from the windowsill and moved over to Evelyn, poking her shoulder. “Hey, your significant other is still waiting downstairs. Are you really not going down to see him?”
“He loved to wait, so let him wait. It’s not like I made him wait.”
She didn’t even lift her head, still keeping all her attention on the computer in front of her, flipping through the information of past activities released by several chibs that she particularly liked.
It seemed like he really didn’t care about the person downstairs.
After a while, she finally looked up and shifted her gaze away from the computer, but she immediately saw Ella, who had been standing by her side all along. She paused for a moment and pushed the computer towards her
“Do you want to take a look too? Are you also interested in these clubs?” Evelyn pointed her flager at the club information on the computer and suddenly remembered something, her eyes shining “Hey, Ella, should we choose the same club?”
“Sure!” Upon hearing Evelyn’s suggestion, Ella clearly showed great interest and readily agreed
The two people gathered together and took half an hour to make a decision. Finally, they settled on joining the Theater Club. By that time, it was already
“What did you come here for again?”
Familiar sound rang in Ethan’s ears, his eyes lit up, but as he heard her words, the light in his eyes that had just lit up, extinguished.
“The Scott family did not lack offspring,” her response was straightforward. She paused for a moment and added, “You also don’t need me to stay by your side in any other capacity, but you know, I like you. Even though I have decided to give up now, if I continue to stay by your side, it will not be beneficial for me to let go of these feelings. Isn’t this what you have always wanted?”
She blocked all the excuses he thought of, and he stammered for a while, but in the end, he could only come up with a weak response, “Grandpa and Grandma also really want to have a younger generation to spend more time with them.-
As soon as it was finished, Evelyn couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
“If this sentence was said by Madam Scott and Sir Scott to you, then they were just expressing their desire to hold their great–grandson, as they heard that Mr. Scott is getting married. It is believed that the day for that will not be too far away.”
Upon hearing Evelyn mention that wedding, Ethan finally remembered why he had come this time.
“Evie, listen to me, I didn’t want to marry Sophia!”

Ch 50 Beginning of 4th Short story. Only 1 page. Incomplete. Summary from reading elsewhere: The world’s perfect couple. Husband is famous CEO who deals in jewelry and designed signature pieces for his beloved and doted on wife. To the world, and to her, they are they perfect loving couple, until she finds out he is having an affair with his Secretary. I can’t remember if it was a physical one or emotional (I can’t recall the correct name for it) one. Long story short, since she told him when she first agreed to be with him that if he ever betrayed her she would disappear from his world, she staged her suicide whilst exposing his affair (I think he also made custom designs for that woman or let her wear his signature piece for her) to the world. She moved abroad and opened a flower shop or something. He eventually finds her but I think she had quietly started dating someone else. Trying not to mix up stories. End the end, she doesn’t go back, he is miserable and regrets, I think he works himself to death, dies early and leaves everything to her....
Ch 49 End of Short Story 3. Too Late to Regret, I’ll call it. I like that she didn’t change her mind and she had valid points because even after realizing Carina’s presence and neediness and his catering to her ruined his family, he still hasn’t sent her packing. He could have had another friend hire her as a Secretary after regaining all the memories, but even after losing his wife and son behind his dealings with her and neglect of his wife and how he started to see her, he still indulged this woman and kept her on. I don’t like how the child isn’t mentioned in the end or how Wayne ended up in the end....
Ch 48 Oh, I like how this went. They both remain the same age but their circumstances changed… well hers did, and they just popped into the life they would have had. But that means theirs a child somewhere without parents but with his memories intact of who his parents were supposed to be since they kept their bodies....

He doesn’t find it odd that she knew where it was and since it was pink she would think it was for her? He thinks she needs him so he can do whatever he wants. I’m already not liking her thinking to make him change their past to fix their future. Leave him. He had the opportunity to do things right the first 7 sevens and correct mistakes in the last 5 with Carina....
