Their Hidden Princess (Zora and Maximus) novel Chapter 295

Chapter 182

Robin gripped his long blade, eyes narrowing. I knew it was you!

Leeanne snorted, Cut the crap and fight already. Your raft’s about to get trashed!

With a loud crack, her whip snapped toward Robin, and at the same time, she let loose Snowy and Little Blue.

Robin just managed to dodge the whip, only to find himself surrounded by Little Blue and Snowy.

Little Blue shouted, Hey, you punk, don’t even think about running! Your grandpa’s here!

Snowy yelled, Yeah, take that! Eat my horn!

Leeanne didn’t even have to get involved. Those two little troublemakers had Robin scrambling all over the place.

Worried her whip might accidentally hit the two little ones, Leeanne grabbed her arrows, drew her horn bow, and fired three arrows in a row straight at Robin.

Robin was already flailing, barely keeping it together. As the arrows whistled toward him, he managed to dodge two by the skin of his teeth, but the last one struck him right in the chest. At the same time, Little Blue’s claws ripped his arm and face to shreds, blood splattering everywhere.

Less than a minute had passed, and the fight was already coming to an end.

Robin didn’t stand a chance.

Realizing he was finished, Robin snarled, Leeanne, you want that reward from Bob, huh? Haha! No way I’m letting you get what you want!

He was right at the edge of the raft, spun around, and jumped straight into the sea.

Apprentice 23’s mouth hung open in shock. That guy’s ruthless!

As soon as Robin plunged into the water, a swarm of fish rushed at him. His scream echoed across the sea, chilling to the

bone.

Leeanne flicked her whip, wrapping it around Robin and hauling him back up. With a sharp swing, she slammed him onto the raft with a loud thud.

He’d only been in the water for a few seconds, but his arm was already chewed to pieces by the fish, and one of his legs was gone. The mess of blood and flesh was truly horrifying to look at.

He was in so much pain, but now that he’d lost an arm and a leg, there was no way he could jump back into the sea again.

He gritted his teeth, fighting through the pain, and still tried to threaten Lecanne. So, I’m not completely killed by you, right? Bob’s such a cheapskate, he won’t hand over the reward!

Leeanne frowned. Oh?

Robin sneered, Bob’s a total cheapskate. He’ll either stiff you or cut your reward in half. Leeanne, you’re bound to be disappointed!

Leeanne was actually a bit worried. She turned her head to look at Apprentice 23.

Apprentice 23 said, Relax. There are rules in place. He wouldn’t dare not pay up!

It was only now that Robin noticed Apprentice 23, and the name floating above her head. His expression twisted. Leeanne, you actually managed to recruit a nonplayer character?

Leeanne smirked, Of course. Unlike you, I’m not dumb enough to attack a nonplayer character!

Robin’s chest heaved with rage.

Just then, a big ship pulled up fast. It was Apprentice 49, and he’d made it over in no time.

Leeanne was now sure that this kid could teleport.

Apprentice 49 stood at the bow, waving excitedly at Little Blue and Snowy. Hey, I’m here to pick you guys up!

Little Blue soared straight to the bow, while Snowy bounded back aboard with a leap.

Robin lay sprawled on the ground, lifting himself just enough to catch a glimpse of Leeanne’s huge wooden pleasure boat.

His eyes widened in amazement as he stared at the towering wooden pleasure boat, the elegant wooden villa sitting atop the deck, and the whole boat draped in green vines and bursting with colorful flowers. He was left speechless.

How could anyone level up like this?Robin thought in disbelief.

In a survival world, how could there be a boat this cozy, secure, and gorgeous?

He knew Leeanne was talented, and he knew she’d scored a ton of loot, but he never imagined she’d gotten this loaded.

If he’d known, he never would’ve gone against her. Instead, he would’ve tried his best to get on her good side. Even if the Spangler family tried to stop him, it wouldn’t have mattered.

Leeanne was way out of his league. Why did I ever think I could go up against her?

Robin’s eyes flickered with awe, regret, envy, and jealousy. In half a minute, he experienced various emotions.

Leeanne pulled out her dagger, and Robin’s eyes went wide with fear. He blurted, Leeanne, please don’t kill me! I’ll follow you from now on and do whatever you say. I swear I’ll never go against you again

With a quick stab, the dagger plunged into his chest.

Leeanne scoffed, Keep dreaming!

Robin never finished his plea. His mouth gaped, gasping for air, and he cast one last, obsessed look at Leeanne’s gorgeous wooden pleasure boat. Then his head slumped to the side, and he was gone.

Leeanne scored a massive haul of supplies.

Out of everything, the rocking chair blueprint and the quicksand trap skill book stood out the most to her.

She thought Robin’s rocking chair looked pretty nice, but there was no way she’d ever use his old one. Now that she had the blueprint and plenty of wood, she could make her own as soon as she got back.

Quicksand Trap Skill Book?she thought, flipping it open to check it out.

[Quicksand Trap Skill Book: Learn the Quicksand Trap skill. Requires Basic Trap Technique. Do you want to learn it?]

So I have to learn Basic Trap Technique first. No wonder Robin never learned it, she thought.

She’d already tricked Robin a few times and thought she’d squeezed every last good thing out of him. But turned out, there was still more left to squeeze out. This skill book was practically made for her.

Yes!Leeanne said.

The skill book burst into sparkles and disappeared, and at the same time, Leeanne learned the Quicksand Trap skill.

Leeanne headed over to Robin’s warehouse, where she found a bunch of chests. Her backpack was already full, so she just had her Sea Demon Vine wrap up the chests and haul them straight onto her own wooden pleasure boat.

Soon, Robin’s raft was completely stripped bare. Leeanne didn’t stop there. She tore down the wooden pleasure boat and all the other buildings, even taking apart the raft itself.

Halfway through the demolition, Leeanne started to regret it and turned to Apprentice 23. Hey, am I gonna end up transferring the Misfortune Curse your eighth senior taught to my own boat?

Tearing stuff down was fine, but she definitely didn’t want any bad luck sticking to her own boat.

This was an Advanced Misfortune Curse. Even with the mystical cherry grove, she wasn’t sure she could handle it.

Apprentice 23 gave her a dismissive look. Aren’t you using my Demolition Master skill? Chill. Any negative effects like Misfortune Curse, Shoddy Craftsmanship, or whatever, they all get erased!

Leeanne shot her a thumbsup.

Wow, this skill even gets rid of all the bad stuff!Leeanne thought, genuinely impressed.

Now reassured, she stripped the raft down to the last 40 square feet. No matter what she tried, she couldn’t dismantle it any further.

That 40 square feet was the original starter area, so she just shrugged and left it as is.

Leeanne returned to her own boat, her vessel overflowing with loot.
