too late for a second chance novel (Lila and Dorian) novel Chapter 418

Amelie patted Lila's hand. "If you're unhappy in the future, you'll have money. You can find as many men as you want. I don't mind if you go out with a few men."

Lila was shocked by Amelie's thoughts. Suddenly, her ears were covered. Nevertheless, she could still hear Kieran's deep voice.

"Don't pick up bad habits."

Amelie clicked her tongue. She realized that Kieran was great at flirting, so why didn't he use his skills at the important parts?

Kieran saw through Amelie's thoughts. He helped her up and poured her a glass of warm water.

"Why do you keep thinking that you'll be gone? Don't you want to hold a granddaughter? Don't you want a granddaughter as pretty as Lila?"

Amelie taunted, "Can you do it?"

Lila's ears turned red. She hinted at Kieran to stop this topic.

"When Grandma woke up, I saw a man in black come over. Before I could see who it was, he disappeared." Lila changed the topic. "Kieran, when you came over, did you see the man?"

"I didn't notice."

After Kieran responded, Lila noticed Amelie narrow her eyes. There must be more to Amelie's condition.

"I thought about it. I think Lila should change the way she addresses you. From now on, you should address him by his name." Amelie changed the topic calmly.

Lila didn't expose Amelie. It was just that she didn't know why it came back to this topic.

Amelie knew what Lila was thinking. She held the latter's hand with a smile. "If you address him the way you did in the past, you won't look like a couple. Come on. Let me hear what you call him now."

Lila was at a loss for words. She turned to look at Kieran for help. He only raised his eyebrow. It was obvious that he supported Amelie's idea.

Since Lila had nothing to do, she stayed at the hospital and took care of Amelie. In the afternoon, something came up, and Kieran needed to leave.

"Grandma, take a rest. I'll go and get the medicine from the pharmacy."

Amelie nodded. "Go ahead. I can take care of myself."

Looking at Amelie, who insisted on peeling the apple herself, Lila smiled helplessly. She informed the caregiver of a few things before leaving.

The pharmacy was on the other side. Lila needed to walk through a corridor. There was an area in the middle that was connected to the outside.

When Lila was walking through that area, she sensed that someone was looking at her. She turned to look outside. There was a man in all black and a black cap. His gaze was on her.

The man's figure was a bit familiar. He slowly took off his mask. When Lila saw his face, she stopped in her tracks. It was Pierre!
