Mira led them to the room where the hostages were being temporarily held.

"There are people from all over the world. Mira, are we saving the foreigners too?"

"We're saving whoever we cross paths with. If another country's special forces were here, I'd like to think they'd save our people in passing, too."

Just as Mira was turning to leave, another voice called out from the group of "patients."

As that voice broke the silence, dozens of other gazes suddenly snapped toward her.

Someone in the crowd asked.

Hearing those words, a vibrant spark of hope finally returned to many of their eyes.
