Too Late To Love Me I Already Left With His Twins (Lydia and Dave) novel Chapter 332

Lydia

We started with the overall theme.

Teni showed us several options based on the pictures I’d saved from their page. There was a romantic garden concept with white flowers, soft blush accents, and delicate lighting; a more rustic arrangement featuring wooden furniture, greenery, and neutral fabrics; and a modern outdoor design with clean lines, sculptural floral installations, and a more contemporary colour palette.

I liked elements of all three, which was immediately a problem.

“I love the flowers in the first one,” I said, pointing towards the screen. “But I prefer the tables in the second. And the lighting in the third is beautiful.”

Anna turned to me slowly.

I knew that look.

“What?” I asked.

“Nothing.”

“Anna.”

“I’m just wondering how we’re going to put three different weddings together and still have one wedding.”

I laughed. “That’s why we’re here, isn’t it? To figure it out?”

Teni smiled. “Actually, that’s a good place to start. We don’t have to choose one concept exactly as it is. We can identify what you like about each and build a design around those preferences. The important thing is to make sure the different elements complement one another.”

I nodded, relieved.

Anna, however, was already looking at the budget sheet.

“Okay, but before we start combining anything, can we talk about the cost implications?”

Teni pulled up a breakdown of the main elements that would affect the overall price: floral arrangements, furniture, lighting, the ceremony backdrop, table settings, installation, and dismantling.

As she explained each item, I began to understand how quickly the costs could add up. It wasn’t just about choosing flowers or deciding how many tables we needed. The venue affected the logistics, the number of guests affected the furniture and catering arrangements, and the design choices affected the amount of labour and equipment required.

Anna asked questions about almost everything.

“Is installation included in the package?”

“Yes, for the standard setup.”

“What about dismantling?”

“That’s included too.”

“Transportation?”

“Depending on the location, it may attract an additional f*e.”

“And if we want to make changes closer to the date?”

“That would depend on the nature of the changes and the availability of materials.”
