Chapter 47 One Move Knockout

And Margaret? Just days ago, she’d been a shy little mouse who’d jump at her own shadow.
“Quit stalling. You gonna fight or not?” Raymond’s patience snapped.
He was fuming-Margaret’s unimpressed gaze was grinding his gears.
Does she really think I’ll go easy? Please. She almost got me killed. I’m not cutting her any slack-not one bit!
“Ahem-fight!” someone yelled, playing ref.
The second the word left his mouth, Margaret moved. She blurred toward Raymond like a ghost, faster than anyone could track.
Before Raymond could blink, she’d grabbed his arm. With a sharp heave, she flipped him over her shoulder in a flawless throw!
Thud!!
Raymond crashed hard onto the floor.
It all happened in the blink of an eye-too fast, too brutal. No one saw her move. One second Raymond was standing; the next, he was flat on his back.

Every single person in the classroom fr

jaws hanging open, eyes bugging out. No one even remembered
One move. She’d taken down a former taekwondo champion in one move!
Is Margaret even human? Or is she some kind of monster?
A few seconds later, the room erupted in chaos. Shouts of “holy shit” echoed off the walls.
“Holy shit!”
“No way! Raymond got one-punched?!”
“Am I losing my mind? Is this a hallucination?!”
“That’s insane!”
“But that throw was badass! Fast and ruthless!”
“What the hell happened to her these past few days?! She’s a whole different person!”
The class stared at Margaret like she was an alien. Their eyes were wide with disbelief.
Raymond was even more shocked than everyone else. He’d been the one fighting her-he knew firsthand how terrifying she was.
He hadn’t seen her move either. One second he was standing; the next, he was on the floor, his back throbbing in pain.

Chapter 47 One Move Knockout
She didn’t hold back. Not even a little. She didn’t treat him like her brother at all.
How the hell is she this strong?
I feel like a totally helpless kid standing in front of her, man.

He’d only felt this way once before-when he met a legendary martial arts master. Like facing a mountain you could never climb, no matter how hard you tried.
Even after pulling off the impossible, Margaret looked totally relaxed-like she hadn’t even tried.
She stared down at Raymond on the floor, her tone mocking and cocky. “Little bro, you lost.”
Raymond’s handsome face turned bright red. Little bro? I’m a year older than you!
Humiliation burned in his chest. He’d never been so embarrassed in his life.
“That was a cheap shot! I don’t accept this! Rematch!” He couldn’t believe he’d lost to a girl-let alone his biological sister.
“Sure.” Margaret agreed easily, with no hesitation.
Raymond climbed to his feet, gritting his teeth against the pain. He got into a fighting stance. “I won’t go easy this time!”
Losing twice in one day? And in fighting and racing-his two biggest prides? It made his blood boil.
“Come on, little bro.” Margaret smirked, her tone dismissive. She didn’t take him seriously at all.
Raymond was a taekwondo black belt, but to the King of Assassins? His moves were just flashy, useless tricks.
Raymond charged at her, full of rage and momentum. But Margaret just stepped sideways, dodging his attack like it was nothing. She grabbed his arm again—and threw him over her shoulder, crisp and brutal.
Thud!
Raymond hit the floor once more. The class froze again shocked into silence.
He still hadn’t seen her move. This time, he’d been the one attacking, but she’d deflected him in a split second-her moves smooth and seamless.
Raymond climbed up, wincing in pain but his eyes were blazing with excitement. “Again!”
He was not a quitter.
He charged at Margaret, eyes red, holding nothing back. He gave it everything he had.
Thud!
Another body hitting the floor. Raymond was down again.
This time, Margaret had taken all of three seconds.
