Chapter 56 The Five Kings Arrive
“Girl, you’re poking a sleeping tiger! You’re asking for death! I don’t play nice with pretty faces!”
James wasn’t the merciful type. Pissed off by her defiance, he lunged forward, ready to take her down in one
hit.
“Margaret, watch out!” Raymond saw him charge. He tried to dive in and stop it, but it was too late.
James aimed for Margaret’s slim legs-he was gonna snap them like twigs!
“Pathetic.” Margaret snorted.
She didn’t dodge or block. Instead, she lifted her leg and kicked James with lightning speed.
Thud!
She looked delicate, but that kick sent the six-foot-three giant flying!
James crashed hard into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. His face twisted in agony.
That kick felt like it had shattered every bone in his torso!
Shock rippled through everyone-James most of all.
Margaret had moved so fast, no one even saw how she did it. One second James was charging; the next, he was sprawled across the floor.
Margaret, meanwhile, pulled her leg back smoothly, her expression as calm as ever.
“You all act so tough, but you’re weaker than ants. What’s there to be arrogant about?” She took a few steps forward and pressed her foot down hard on James’s back.
“Get your foot off me!” James seethed with humiliation. He roared and struggled, but he couldn’t stand up.
That slender leg felt like a mountain pinning him down-he couldn’t move an inch.
He was terrified. Her aura was suffocating, like a boulder on his chest.
The boys beside him stared at Margaret, eyes glowing with admiration.
She is so badass-like a queen descending!
“Let me go, or I’ll kill you! I’ll chop you into pieces!”
James was humiliated beyond words. A gangster with over a decade of experience, pinned under a girl’s foot? It was unthinkable.
“I’ve killed people before!” He snarled, trying to scare her with his reputation.
But it backfired. Margaret didn’t look scared. She scoffed, amused, “Oh? How many have you killed, exactly?”
She was beautiful, even when she smiled.
But her strange eyes were cold, sending chills down spines.

“What’d you use to kill? A knife? Did you finish them in one stab? How much blood got on you?” Her voice echoed through the factory, eerie and unsettling.
James froze. He’d expected fear-instead, the girl sounded excited.
“Do you think this knife will kill you if I stab it in?”
Before anyone could react, Margaret was holding a blood-stained knife. The blood glistened on the blade.
James felt a flicker of fear, but he’d seen blood. He wasn that easily spooked.
“You dare kill me?” he scoffed. A kid, no matter how tough he is, ain’t got the guts to stab someone with a knife.
“Why wouldn’t I?” Margaret’s face stayed blank. She casually plunged the knife into James’s shoulder.
Blood gushed out instantly.
Agony shot through his body, James stared in disbelief. cold dread wrapped around him.
In her eyes, he saw total indifference to life-as if human lives were worthless, something she could snuff out anytime.
He’d only seen that look in the Five Kings. Those are legendary badasses. How could this girl have that kind of authority?
James forgot the pain. He roared at his men, “What are you all doing? Standing around like statues? Get this James forgot the pain. He roared at his men, “What crazy bitch off me!”
He might be stuck, but he had hundreds of men with him.
His yell snapped the gang members out of their shock.
This was surreal-their boss, who could take on ten me alone, was getting trampled by a girl.
They swarmed toward Margaret, ready to attack.
Then, a cold, menacing voice boomed from outside the factory. “Who dares move?”
The gang members froze mid-step. They turned toward the voice, their faces lighting up with fanatical admiration.
Five men walked into the factory, surrounded by a group of gangsters. Their presence filled the room.
“Greetings to the Five Kings!” The gang members roared in unison. Their voices shook the walls-an imposing sight.
