Chapter 64 The Bold Encounter

These traffickers hurt Maggie. Only I have the right to avenge her.

“No need to investigate, dude. I killed these guys.”

A pretty girl’s voice cut through the tense air, with a hint of playfulness.

“Who’s there?!” The men in black panicked, yanking out their guns. They didn’t even notice there was someone hiding here!

A stunning girl in all black and a baseball cap jumped down from the warehouse rafters.

“Whoa! She’s gorgeous!”

“Total work of art!” Walter was obsessed with good looks. His eyes lit up the second he saw her.

“Cut the crap! Put your guns down!” Darryl roared when he saw the men pointing their weapons at the girl.

The men quickly lowered their guns.

Margaret walked straight up to Andrew, looking down at him with a smile. Every move she made was charming. “Hey handsome, we’ve got serious chemistry. I was just thinking about you, and here you are.”

Andrew, in his wheelchair, had eyes as still as a deep well-until he saw Margaret. A faint glimmer finally appeared in those eyes.

He stared at her intensely, his voice deep and magnetic. “I’ve been thinking about you too, Maggie.”

Margaret wasn’t surprised he knew her nickname.

A guy with his power and connections could dig up her info in a heartbeat. Hearing her nickname from his lips felt special-nice, even.

“Does your wound still hurt?” Margaret reached out, her fingers unbuttoning Andrew’s shirt right there in front of everyone.

His sexy collarbones came into view.

His skin was pale, glowing faintly-like a precious work of art.

She fully unbuttoned the shirt, exposing the scar on his chest. It was hideous, like a gash across that perfect “artwork.”

Margaret frowned slightly. “Why didn’t you use cream to get rid of this scar?”

He told the truth. “You’re the one who gave it to me. I can’t bear to erase it.”

She traced the scar with her cool fingertips, her tone firm. “Use the cream. Next time, I don’t wanna see this ugly thing on you.”

She loved beautiful things-this scar was an eyesore.

Andrew’s expression stayed neutral. He turned to Walter, his voice suddenly as cold as the wind outside. “She hates the scar. Get it removed next time.”

Walter was rendered speechless.

C’mon, man! You’re the one who insisted on keeping it! Why am I taking the fall here?

“Be good and put your shirt back on. You’re so fragile-you’ll catch a cold.” She’d unbuttoned it, but had no intention of doing it back up.

Andrew didn’t move. Instead, he grabbed her hand, his voice low and domineering. “You button it for me.”

Margaret fell silent for a second, then gave him a flirty smile. “Domineering CEO vibe? I dig it.”

She carefully buttoned his shirt, treating him like her own personal possession.

Walter’s eyes nearly popped out of his head.

Is something wrong with this world? Andrew’s actually letting a woman get close to him—and he volunteered to hold her hand!

Walter watched their interaction, creeped out by how cozy they were.

This girl is way too bold. And she doesn’t even look shy? Have they mixed up the scripts?

“I killed these guys. You gonna tear me to pieces like you said?” She looked at him, her eyes cold but with a rare hint of amusement.

Andrew shook his head, pointing at Walter without blinking. “That was his idea. Nothing to do with me.”

Walter was stunned.

Dude, seriously? You’re throwing me under the bus this blatantly?

Walter glanced at the gory bodies, then at the fragile, beautiful girl. He couldn’t believe it.

She has such an innocent, stunning face. Did she really do this?

“Miss, did you really kill all these guys?” He was skeptical. Sure, she seemed weird and mysterious, but still.

Margaret grinned and admitted it. “Yep. Headshots every time-felt like playing a video game. Super satisfying.”

Walter looked at the mangled corpses, then at the smile on her lips.

A cold shiver ran down his spine. This was freaky.

She’s totally Andrew’s type-killing people and chatting like it’s no big deal.

“Wait-you’re Margaret Tucker? The so-called ‘ugly hick’ of the Tucker family?” Walter’s slow brain finally caught up.

“You think I’m ugly and hickish, buddy?”
