For some reason, that one glance had totally freaked her out, sending a wave of panic through her chest.
Margaret’s eyes were cold as ice. When she looked at Clara, Clara swore she felt a deadly aura-like Margaret was staring at a corpse, not a person.
A bone-deep chill ran through her, making her want to run far, far away.
But when she glanced at her friends and classmates around her, she forced herself to calm down. With so many people watching, Margaret wouldn’t dare do anything to her!
Clara put on her “school beauty” mask, staying quiet. She wanted to see what this bumpkin planned to do.
Everyone’s eyes were glued to Margaret.
Under the full gaze of the cafeteria, she walked up to the table, grabbed a girl by the back of her shirt, and lifted her up like she was a tiny chick. With a casual flick, she tossed the girl onto the floor.
Her voice was cold, laced with disgust. “Move. Now.”
“Whoa! Her voice is so cool-cold and crisp, totally my type!”
“Damn, that’s some strength! She lifted her like it was nothing!”
“Haha, that girl on the floor looks so silly-like a dropped chick!”
The whole cafeteria was stunned by her bold move.
The girl who’d been tossed stared blankly for a second, then scrambled up, her face twisted with rage as she glared at Margaret-who’d already taken her seat.
Humiliated in front of everyone, her pretty face contorted with fury. “What’s your problem?! Why’d you throw me? Do you even know who I am? I’m from the Miller family! You wanna die?!”
A gasp went up from the crowd. “That’s Michelle-she’s the Miller’s heiress!”
“Wait, the Miller family? One of the four major families?” someone yelped.
“Yeah, that’s them! Oh no, this girl’s in big trouble! The Millers aren’t people you mess with!”
“Ugh, I loved how badass she looked when she tossed Michelle, but now she’s gonna pay for it…”
Whispers filled the cafeteria.
Most people felt bad for Margaret. She was so stunning and cool; it was a shame she’d crossed the wrong
person.
Michelle Miller drank in the murmurs, a smug grin spreading across her face.
When her eyes landed on Margaret’s flawless, delicate features, jealousy flared. I really wanna slice that pretty

She pointed at Margaret, her tone arrogant. “Now you know who I am! Get on your knees and apologize- now! Or I’ll make you regret ever being born!”
Margaret’s eyes turned even colder as she thought about what Michelle had done to the original owner of this body.
Michelle Jose’s little sister, and Clara’s best friend.
Once, just because the original Margaret had given Jose a love letter, Michelle had rounded up some girls to beat her senseless. She’d doused her with cold water, locked her in the school bathroom overnight, and left her there shivering.
The original Margaret had caught a high fever and almost died.
A faint, bloodthirsty smirk tugged at Margaret’s lips-slowly growing wider, more eager. How should I kill Michelle to make it fun?
“Hey! I’m talking to you! Did you zone out? Too scared to answer?” Michelle snapped, thinking Margaret had frozen up at the sound of her family name.
“Get on your knees, and I’ll let you off the hook.” Her tone was insufferably cocky.
She’s totally embarrassed me! I’m gonna make her humiliate herself so much worse-way worse than this!
Margaret’s voice cut through the air, sharp as a blade. “I don’t get it. Why do you people love making others kneel so much?”
Her tone shifted, dangerous and sharp. “If you’re that obsessed with kneeling… I’ll make sure you kneel enough.”
Thud!
In the blink of an eye, Margaret moved. Her foot lashed out, hitting Michelle’s knee with pinpoint precision.
Michelle’s face contorted in agony-her legs buckled under the force, and she dropped to her knees with a heavy thud.
Margaret’s kick was so fast. No one in the crowd could even see it clearly,
By the time they focused, the high-and-mighty Michelle was kneeling before the cool Margaret.
Everyone’s eyes bulged-then the cafeteria erupted in stifled laughter.
“What the heck?! Why’d Michelle just kneel to her out of nowhere?”
“Haha, that’s some next-level groveling-she’s acting like she’s praying to a deity or something!”
“Michelle’s so humiliated! Kneeling in front of the whole cafeteria!”
“Serves her right! She’s always making others kneel to her. Turns out she’s a pro at it herself-look how perfect that posture is! This is hilarious! Total karmal”
