“So Lucas is the more effective instructor, in your opinion?” Ethan remarked.

“I feel his teaching approach is definitely different from Kyle’s. He’s more experienced, and his explanations are easier to grasp,” Arabella analyzed, reflecting on her lessons over the past few days.
“That’s good to hear. Though I did notice he seemed particularly concerned about you yesterday at the hospital,” Ethan recalled, thinking back to Lucas‘ demeanor.
“Really? I didn’t pick up on that. Maybe he was just tense in the moment,” Arabella said after a moment’s thought, only remembering Lucas‘ serious expression.
“Speaking of which, we really do owe him one from yesterday at the beach. If he hadn’t been there, Edward and I wouldn’t have known how to get to the hospital.
“Once I’m better, I’ll have to treat him to a proper dinner,” Arabella mused.
“Hearing you say that, we really should express our gratitude properly. Do you need me to help arrange something?” Ethan offered.
“No, I’ll handle it myself. It’ll feel more sincere that way,” Arabella replied with a slight smile.
“Was he at the beach with you yesterday?” Ethan asked casually.
“No, we ran into him later.” Originally, Arabella hadn’t planned for Edward and Lucas to meet. She hadn’t expected to get hurt, which not only led to their meeting but also required Lucas‘ help to get to the hospital. Sometimes things just happen contrary to plan.
“I see. Well, it looks like you won’t be able to continue your flight lessons for a while.”
“Yeah, I’ll need a few days of rest,” Arabella said, her expression turning helpless.
Thinking of this, Arabella seemed to remember something. She took out her phone, typed a quick message, and sent it to Lucas.
“What are you doing?”
“I need to remind Lucas not to mention my injury to anyone.”
Ethan seemed to guess her reasoning. “You’re not worried about Naomi and Ruby finding out, are you?”

“No, I just don’t want people at the academy to know. If you hadn’t mentioned them, I wouldn’t have even thought of those two.

“But you did remind me–I can’t let them find out either. Otherwise, they’d definitely stir up trouble at home and ruin my peace.
“I should let Mom and Dad know too.” As she spoke, Arabella picked up her phone again and sent a message to Florence.
“I’m not sure that will help much. If Naomi notices you’re absent from the academy, she’ll definitely ask questions. After all, her goal is to outperform you.
“If you’re not there, she might even lose her motivation.” Ethan glanced at Arabella and speculated.
“So you’re saying I’m indirectly helping her improve?” Arabella gave a cold laugh.
“It seems that way,” Ethan smiled slightly, seeing her sarcastic expression.
“Whatever!” Arabella rolled her eyes at him. “I don’t care what she thinks. Who cares,” she added with a proud smirk.
Soon, Ethan’s car arrived at the main entrance of Kindwell Hospital. He parked and wheeled Arabella toward the outpatient clinic.
“Miss, could you help change my sister’s dressing, please?” Ethan said.
“Sure, right this way.”
The nurse proceeded to change the dressing on Arabella’s wound.
Ethan looked at Arabella. “How is Mr. Stewart doing now? Were you able to treat him successfully?”
“Essentially healed. But he couldn’t stand being in the hospital any longer, so he’s already been discharged and is recuperating at home,” Arabella explained.
“That was quick. I thought he’d be in for at least half a year,” Ethan said, somewhat surprised.
“Half a year? It wouldn’t take that long. If there hadn’t been a minor complication during his treatment, he’d be fully recovered by now and wouldn’t even need home care,” Arabella stated with certainty.
“Really? You’re amazing!”

“When are you going to check my vitals too? See how my health is?” Ethan was impressed and also wanted Arabella to examine him.
