Chapter 451 Suspicions and Design Drafts
After telling the two of them to get some rest, Arabella returned to her room.
Seeing that it was still fairly early, she booted up her computer and continued refining her design drafts.

Over at the apartment, Naomi arrived home, showered, changed into loungewear, and sat on the edge of her bed, lost in thought.
Suddenly, her phone rang. Snapping out of her daze, she picked up.
“Naomi, where are you?” Ruby’s voice came through.
“At the apartment,” Naomi replied.
Ruby sounded surprised. “You didn’t stay at Cloudrise Manor?”

Arabella was thinking about her new herb cultivation area and planning to visit the pharmaceutical lab, but then Matthew called.
“Mr. Stewart, what’s up?” Arabella answered.
“Come to Horizon Corp. Now.” Matthew’s tone left no room for refusal.
Arabella frowned. “What’s the hurry? Did something happen?”
If she went to Horizon Corp, what about Colton?
“It’s about the car accident. Andy got the results,” Matthew stated.
“Oh, I see.” Arabella tried to sidestep. “There’s something urgent I need to handle. I’ll come by a bit later.”
Truth was, Colton already had findings too, but she couldn’t let on that she knew.
“What is it?” Matthew pressed.
“Well… you don’t need the details, Mr. Stewart.” Mostly because she was making it up!
But Matthew wasn’t letting it go. His voice lowered slightly. “Can’t ask? That mysterious?”
“Just personal matters. Really, you don’t need to know, Mr. Stewart.” She kept her tone light but final.
Matthew was annoyed but gave in. “Then I hope you wrap up your personal business soon.”
“I will,” Arabella replied casually before hanging up.
Listening to the dial tone, Matthew’s eyes turned cool.
Noticing his boss‘ mood, Andy ventured carefully, “Mr. Stewart, Dr. Hamilton isn’t coming then? What should we do?”
“Forget it.” Matthew set down the phone. “When Tylin arrives, send him in.”
“Yes, sir.” Andy acknowledged and stepped out.
A short while later, Colton arrived.
“Knock knock knock.”
Andy’s voice came through the door. “Mr. Stewart, designer Tylin is here.”
Hearing the name Tylin, Colton’s lip twitched.
Such a pretentious, artsy name–and now it was his. What a mess.
“Come in,” Matthew said.
Andy opened the door and showed Colton into the office.
Matthew looked at Colton, his gaze narrowing almost imperceptibly.

The figure he’d seen yesterday really did resemble him.
He hadn’t gotten a clear look at the face, but he was fairly sure he wasn’t mistaken.
That one glance sent Colton’s heart racing. It felt intimidating, as if Matthew had already seen right through him.

His legs went a bit weak, but Colton knew he couldn’t slip up. Gritting his teeth, he said, “Mr. Stewart, where would you like me to set up for the design work?”
Matthew studied Colton, a slight frown forming. He just couldn’t bring himself to use the name Tylin.
After a brief pause, Matthew asked, “Were you on Garden Road yesterday morning?”
Colton’s heart jumped. So Matthew really did suspect him.
“Oh, yeah. How did you know, Mr. Stewart?” Colton asked, feigning curiosity.
“I saw you,” Matthew replied evenly.
Colton put on a surprised look. “Oh, so you were there too yesterday, Mr. Stewart? Then you must’ve seen the accident. What a scene that was. Didn’t look like anyone was hurt, though, so I just took a quick look and headed out.”
Matthew’s eyes narrowed meaningfully. “So that’s what happened.”
“Yep.” Colton offered an awkward smile and scratched the back of his head. “I actually had plans to meet someone, so I was in a bit of a rush and took off.”

I started the novel with great interest. In the beginning the storyline was captivating. Then I feel that the more the story advances, the twists were no longer great. Moreover I don't like Arabella s personality, cold, distant......
