"You're never going to guess what happened." Colton glanced around before lowering his voice. "They turned themselves in."
Arabella had just reached for her glass of water. At his words, her hand jerked, sending water splashing across the table.
"Both of them? No way!" She couldn't believe it.
"While I was waiting for you outside, I checked it out. It's definitely true," Colton confirmed. "But I'm pretty sure Mr. Stewart had something to do with it."
"Matthew," Arabella murmured, biting her lower lip softly as things began to make sense.
"My guess is they ran out of options," Colton added.
A cold laugh escaped her. "Those two are such sly old foxes."
"Huh?" Colton was confused at first.
Turning themselves in—how could that be a good move?
Arabella met his gaze. "Sure, they ran out of options, but this is also a way to protect themselves."
"What do you mean?" Colton leaned in curiously. "Those robbers confessed to everything. They're the ones behind it all, which makes them the masterminds this time. And once everything from the past gets dug up too, with multiple charges stacked together—that's not a light sentence."
"There are two of them. Or actually, three if you count the whole family," Arabella reasoned. "If they split the blame, it won't fall as heavily on any one person. Then once things quiet down, they can work the system. It's still better than staying out here and dealing with Matthew."
"Oh!" Colton slapped his knee. "Right—how could I forget about Mr. Stewart?"
Compared to facing him, turning themselves in really did seem like the safer bet.
"No way. I'm not letting them off that easy," Colton said, his tone turning indignant. "I'll keep a close watch. There's no chance I'm letting them work any angles."
"Yeah." Arabella nodded in agreement. Once they were behind bars, she wasn't about to let them slip out easily.
"But man, Mr. Stewart is really something else," Colton sighed, almost impressed. "He actually managed to force those lowlifes to turn themselves in."
"Definitely," Arabella replied, her eyes darkening slightly. If it weren't for Matthew, Zack and Sarah would probably still be figuring out how to get rid of her. They'd never have walked into a police station on their own.
"So how are you planning to thank Mr. Stewart?" Colton asked, looking genuinely curious.
Arabella blinked. "Thank him?"
She honestly hadn't thought that far ahead.
"You should show a little gratitude, right? Especially after he saved you," Colton pointed out.
Arabella arched a brow at him. "Why don't you go thank Mr. Stewart for me, then?"
"Nope." Colton shook his head firmly. "That kind of thing is better coming from you directly."
"Then why aren't you eating?" Arabella rolled her eyes playfully. "Talking so much."

The readers' comments on the novel: True Heiress Returns to Her Unemployed Rich Family (Arabella)
This has been going for too long in circles. Reached ch 654 and it's still the same twists no changes at all. Other novels reaches it's climax not beyond ch 300 and it's more captivating. Don't let us readers abandon this....
Update please...
I started the novel with great interest. In the beginning the storyline was captivating. Then I feel that the more the story advances, the twists were no longer great. Moreover I don't like Arabella s personality, cold, distant......
