On Sunday, Serena looped Selagstian into playing the game with her as they reminisced about those days

She let out a sigh “I didn’t expect this game to still be running after all these years‘

The youngsters were barely familiar with this game, after all.

Sebastian chuckled softly. “Don’t worry, it won’t ever shut down”

Serena looked up at him in surprise. “Did you seriously buy them out?”

She immediately went onto the official website. Sure enough, under the tech company listed, it belonged wholly for the Levine Group.

This left Serena speechless.

Sebastian answered nonchalantly, “What? Are you saying it’s difficult to acquire a gaming company?”

Serena pursed her lips together. “It’s about Lily, my colleague. You’ve met her before, remember? Anyway, it seems like che’s dating this suspicious guy. She even bought him expensive shoes and a suit.

“It’s already beyond what she can afford with her salary. Then, my other colleagues were saying that if a woman gives her man a pair of shoes, he’ll eventually leave her. I wanted to see if this was true.”

Sebastian snorted. “Why are you comparing me to those trashy/men? Didn’t you say she used to be single? You wanted me to hook her up with someone suitable, didn’t you?”

Serena nodded. “Yeah. Who knew she’d get into a relationship so quickly?”

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. “Do you think she’s dating your former assistant?”

Startled, Serena sat up straight in his arms. “Why would you think that?”

“Wasn’t she the one who sent that guy home?” he explained.

Serena was stunned, unable to snap out of her daze for a long time. That explained things! How had she not thought of it?

Ever since Gavin was sent away, she hadn’t paid attention to the intern anymore.

But Gavin’s looks were exactly Lily’s type! She liked younger, gentle guys–that was why so many of her blind dates had failed!

“I’ll try asking her about it tomorrow.”

“That guy doesn’t seem decent. He tried flirting with you before, and after I told him to back off, he’s after someone else. Gosh, he’s fresh out of college, yet demanding for all these things. He’s clearly after her money.

“Don’t scare her, though. If you say too much, she might get upset. Save yourself from trouble.”
